@Nicolasa that’s fine, the durag was not required though. We see he’s performing Kai’s song, why would the outfit need to be matched exactly. We know who he’s imitating. Kai was also very tone deaf when it came to what he had on. Baekhyun asked him about it, and he didn’t even know what it was called, atleast if you will use something apart of our culture as fashion know what it is. I blame his fashion department for that one though. How is he supposed to know if they don’t.

The main dancer dances so well it’s literally the best one I’ve seen so far from all these covers. Like he’s vibing with the song and gives out the expressions which could drag audience into it. what is so wrong about wearing something from a different culture? Culture is meant to be shared. If we use the logic of cultural appropriation then black and white people are not allowed to eat sushi or any asiatic food or sing their Songs. Compass was invented and used by the chinese. Others thought the compass was very useful and then gradually the usage spread to other countries. Anyone who isnt egyptian arent allowed to use wigs since they were the first one to invent it. Pants were originated from central Asia so black and white cant wear them. i dont think do rags is cultural appropiation. i always thought cultural appropriation was when a part of someone's culture is taken as joke or a costume like native american halloween costumes and not some just wearing something. it’s not cultural appropriation for white people to wear a durag or any other garment. A durag (really an invented term based on the compound noun, “do-rag”) is not and has never been specific to any culture. If it were, the question would have been worded differently to specify that culture, rather than seeking only to exclude “white people.”

I have no problem with people wearing durags as long as they don't do it to just look cool without even knowing what it represents. Like many other cultures who have their own garments, so does black culture, and this culture is not just an aesthetic which is why black people find it offensive when people wear it just to wear it or call it a "hat" and other misinforming things.
