The more I get to know Taeyeon, her history, songs, career and personality, the more I like her. She's not only a superstar but also a true, honest musician. She never lets herself go easy. I sometimes feel that she's way too hard for herself. She's honest and humble down to earth person. I really appreciate the way she sings placing the music and the song always first, not her ego. Somebody somewhere said: "Taeyeon is not searching for the spotlight the spotlight is searching for Taeyeon." Her versatility is out of this world; she can sing nearly anything and it will work. I adore her straightforward, clean and natural singing style. It isn't the easiest way to sing, I think. She's being smart and set her goal to be able to sing for a long time in a healthy way. Let's hope Taeyeon will contuniously survive in Korean music industry and fullfill her passion to sing great songs for her lucky audience and fans.

@@Lassi-mur I definitely think that's (unfortunately) a common characteristic with performers, where they're very critical, and sometimes mean to themselves. I understand why, because you want to be your best. I really do hope she realizes her talent and skill, and that her praise is deserved! And I'm also hoping she stays healthy for herself, and for her career :3 -Lilith💕

When Girl's Generation was formed, as trainees the other members didnt think Taeyeon would be part of the idol group because her voice was too good at just 16yo, they thought she would become a soloist instead. We'll never know the real reason why she hasn't toured outside of Asia, she already has the popularity, the viral hits, and the 17 year discography to make it happen. I think because she's such a perfectionist and is so hard on herself, if she feels she can't provide the best experience for her fans then she wont do it. Her pull and leverage at her label is so enormous, if she doesn't want or wants to do something, they will make it happen.

No, SM wouldn't even let her know her songs' charting and achievements. They don't believe she can fill venues outside of Asia.

Taeyeon is already 35 years old. Over time, she may also experience a loss of voice. People who din't listen to Taeyeon's music up until now spend their time without realizing that they have suffered a great deal of damage in their musical life. If they realize Taeyeon's talent later on, they won't be able to listen to Taeyeon live and you'll probably regret it at that time! The same goes for Girls' Generation's music! Please forgive me if my English is bad. You understand what I want to say, right?
