Every music awards show in Korea will always be rigged in people’s eyes whenever their stans didn’t win. That’s just the way it is. The nominated artists are all very talented in their own rights.. there’s just no point in weighing who’s more talented because it’s just a matter of opinion. But bts winning over and over again is because of army. Army.. no matter how toxic others say they are.. is still the most powerful, dedicated and supportive fandom. The fandom is still the key to success.. the relationship between bts and army is really just super strong. Jimin deserves the daesang in my opinion.. who is a very much globally successful release. If you didn’t like “who”..it doesn’t mean it’s not a great song. The charts and over a billion spotify streams in not even 6 months.. will speak for it’s success and why it deserves the daesang. It’s still charting as we speak.

Before anyone says Aespa winning is paid/rigged, here is a fun fact for you. Not a single SM artist has ever won song of the year at the MAMA awards and aespa is the very first one to do so. It is a well-known fact in the Kpop community that SM and MAMA (Mnet) do not have the best relationship with each other. Ask any EXO and SNSD fans and they will tell you. Supernova truly deserved SOTY. Might be the first SM groups to win a big Mama award in years. Big Bang really saved the stage this year. Rose should've pushed for a big performance given the popularity of APT. I was at there concert in Berlin yesterday. Such an incredible show. So much diversity in the set list. Rock versions from there songs, crazy styling like justin left me speechless, amazing rap performances, vocal heaven like Juria covering hello by adele and DJ session of Simon incorporating trendy German songs and blending them with xg themed beats. It also was jurias birthday which was celebrated. Just wished more people overhear would care about them

I hope JYP artists like ITZY, twice, stray kids and NMIXX are going to win in aaa awards. As for KBS world continues to banned Blackpink, Rose and Bruno Mars for violations and never nominate to win again.

Unpopular opinion: no matter who wins these fans will still say “payola” “someone deserves better” “MAMA/any award show rigged”. So better be content with the awarding since you guys have no power or knowledge over how award show works. Maybe MAMA is not SM to be easily swayed by fans. Though I agree MAMA or MNet is never a good thing but be content and respectful towards all the awarded artists.

@@Arielaarmy-k7i if they’re are really friends then why some of their artists didn’t get nominations, forget about winning the awards they didn’t even got nominated LE SSERAFIM’s songs have dominated this year too, their albums did well too. LE SSERAFIM is said to be HYBE’s favourite girl group. Also TXT was completely wiped off from the nominations. I don’t think HYBE got anything to do with MNet since they broke up during Belift and I-Land project was divided. KAKAO and SM entertainment has been having more influence in the Kpop these days. Also SM has bad blood with HYBE since SM was against HYBE to buy LeeSooman’s share. Behind the doors SM was always been in good terms with CJ ENM. So anything could’ve happened and HYBE doesn’t have a good relationship with MNet anymore. Their artists don’t have comeback showcase with M2 anymore as well.
