Monsta X are really amazing! I hope you can continue to check on them. I know this is supposed to be a 2021 guide, but you should know that Wonho (left the group in 2019) is part of their story too. He wrote, composed and produced many of their songs (he even designed some of their outfits). I really don't know why this guide didn't even mention him. Anyway, he is working as a soloist and released 3 albums (with the title tracks Open Mind, Lose and Blue); his comeback is going to happen february 16th by the way. Hope you can check him out too! Monsta X is really a genuine and amazing group and I am glad you are giving them a chance!

They're hands down one of the most chaotic funniest groups in kpop for me 🤣👍 they're considered as chaotic as BTOB (actually they collabed with BTOB on their variety show to compete to see who is more chaotic LOL (28:49)) GOT7 and Monsta X and Seventeen are all really good friends and have similar energy, they're just so fun to watch! They always leave me laughing so hard 😅

if you like the ending song, you should definetly check out both of their all- english albums 'The Dreaming' and 'All about luv' ; both kind of have that general vibe that you said you liked. They show really well, once you compare them to their korean albums, the duality that this group has and the many different sounds that can be found all throughout their discography. They're my personal absolute favorite among Kpop groups, I would love to see you dive in more deep- into both guides and music!

it's always a pleasure for me when i see reactors here in youtube discover monsta x, watch guides and want to know more about them. i read the comments and i understand that you didn't want guide with spoilers that's why you chose this one. now that you've done this one and got some very basic information, i really hope you can watch the guides that's recommended by other mbbs which are Chaena's guides (group and individuals). you don't have to do it on camera, and you can skip the spoilers, but it'll REALLY help you to know monsta x more bcs those guides contain more information. regardless, i really enjoy your reaction. wish you have fun on this journey of discovering monsta x!!

Unfortunately a ton of guides that had Wonho mentions were FULL of spoilers and I know that's a thing Paul tries to avoid. But yeah later on I will likely request guides/memes full of Wonho because he's a fave

@@KpopPrince yup! And he was fully cleared and proven innocent too! Never touched the drug actually, they were all rumors but he left to protect the members from any damage while he was under investigation. This channel was confronted many times about erasing an innocent person who contributed to the group for FIVE YEARS, even writing many songs.. but they refused to change anything and disabled the comment section 🙃 But that's okay! You can definitely check out an OT7 guide (there are some recent ones that include him too) on your own time, because Wonho is truly incredible and was such an essential member of MX!

Hyungwon and Minhyuk were friends pre-Monsta X. Minhyuk actually invited Hyungwon to stay with his family because he lived so far from all the trainee interviews. They spent a year saving money, gaming, and hanging about. It's also how we found out Minhyuk is a light-weight, since in his podcast they were reminiscing about having another idol carry him back to the dorms after two drinks.

I knew MonstaX since their debut and yes when the first time i watch Trespass MV it remind me of BAP the hip hop grup that i like .. and thats why i try to stan MonstaX But then they make me fall more deep into them coz in my opinion they're geting better and better their music and song never disampoint me. First of all thank you so much for the reaction. This guide was really good but a bit too biased towards I.M I gotta say... I hope you will be able to maybe check out another guide that is more balanced in the future as they are all amazing artists with incredible talents. Jooheon and I.M are in the top 10 idols with the most copyrighted songs and Hyungwon recently began producing for the group too (besides I.M and oc our boi Joohoney, who is actually the main producer for MX). Also Kihyun is often ranked as one of the best vocals in all of k-pop and Honey is also generally known to be in the list of koreas best rappers in general. Monsta X as a group are very educated I would say and they really give of a genuine feeling, that's one of the reasons why Monbebe and Monsta X are so close to each other. Many people already recommended cheana's guides and they really are good to watch even if they are a bit older so I hope you'll come around to them. + This guide just left Wonho out completely, who was actively writing and producing for the group (now for himself) and left only for the group's sake. They all are still friends bts (they sometimes slip up with fotos and stuff) and people not mentioning him at all is just a little painful, when we all know how badly it affected Monsta X (for example: Joohoney took a 3 moths break for his mental health after he left and the other members were often seen discrouraged and sad).

First of all thank you for checking them out, I hope we can see your journey with them for a long time Like many others mentioned, this guide was good but biased towards IM/Changkyun also unfortunately did not include Wonho at all, while I believe new Monbebes don't have to support Wonho by default he is a part of Monsta X and their history, he was with them for 5 years not including pre-debut, for 5 years he wrote many songs in Mx albums, he gave his all to Monbebe, he was there when they got their first win, he was there for all of their world tours, he was here for 7 Korean albums an English album and 2 Japanese albums, he was there for most of their story so I think it's not fair to him or to the remaining members to erase their history like this. I am sorry if my rant was a little much but since I've been with them for 7 years now, I have strong emotions

I'll add to a prior comment on here: Joohoney is in the top 10 of most copyrighted Idols. He has written and produced A LOT of songs. I.M isn't far behind him, either. It is absolutely crazy how much music Monsta X has released. You said something in the video about a first win. That was not their first win. Their first win was for Dramarama and it was... memorable. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. God, Monsta X has so much good content... it's overwhelming really. They have more than one reality show that they've done, not to mention the competition that led to their formation, No Mercy. As much as I loved seeing how they came to be, I didn't really feel like it showcased their personalities very well... and honestly, Starship tortured those boys pretty badly in the show. It makes me so angry. You can start small without any music spoilers or anything and react to Monsta X's Secret Talent Test for Cosmopolitan. That one was pretty funny.

Zach Sang still does interviews! He just did one recently with BTS again (that was actually 8 months ago because time flies, but he did just do one last month or so with Stray Kids and Monsta X). They're just not in person yet :/ hopefully soon (and it appears they ARE in the studio, but Zach may be sitting in a booth outside the room rather in the same room - man I'm behind).

You can look up Minhyuk's VogueShip Show, Season 2 of Idol Radio with Hyungwon and Jooheon, and Midnight Idol with Kihyun and I.M where they interact with all kinds of Korean artists. Since Shownu is in the military, we only get occasional videos from him sadly. I'd suggest listening to I.M's solo debut of Duality and watching his mv God Damn and you can really see how far he's come. They keep getting better. Thank you!!
