I just got one of these at an estate sale too! I shot a roll with it I haven't developed yet, and my exposure counter wasn't working, and it sounded like the backing paper was crunching up inside it when I advanced the film. When I opened it it seemed fine, and was all on the take-up spool. Developing the film this Friday, so we'll see!

I got to say, when you pulled and ripped the case, that really did make me laugh (sorry man). I did the same with another camera case from the same period. Didn't even bother to look at it, straight in the bin. Anyway, great vid as i've just bought one and can't wait to give it go. A good step up from the money losing Lubitel :-). Brilliant thanx for making and uploading, big help

Good tour of those cameras, i have a non-LM Yashica Mat that i shoot with semi-regularly. The last shot was nerve-racking though, i wrecked an old Praktika camera by dropping it in a creek when the strap broke.

Thanks for the most honest review of a camera, and medium-format photofuckery in general, ever. Just got an LM. Selenium doesn't even work. Don't even care, but at least I know what things do. Thank you for uploading this raw-dogs review / tutorial. Helped more than you know. I love my stupid kinda - broken awesome fucking camera, the pics I've taken with this thing are one of a kind. 👍

Ebay I think. But it was around 2006 when I got it so I'm not sure if that is still the best place to get one.
