Yes, there have been instances where the mains ratio has been increased in other state public service exams due to various reasons, including: 1. *Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC)*: In 2019, the Madras High Court directed TNPSC to increase the mains ratio from 1:10 to 1:17 for the Combined Civil Services Examination. 2. *Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC)*: In 2018, the Allahabad High Court ordered UPPSC to increase the mains ratio from 1:15 to 1:20 for the Provincial Civil Services Examination. 3. *Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)*: In 2017, the Hyderabad High Court directed APPSC to increase the mains ratio from 1:15 to 1:25 for the Group-I Services Examination. 4. *Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC)*: In 2015, the Kerala High Court ordered KPSC to increase the mains ratio from 1:15 to 1:20 for the Civil Services Examination. These instances demonstrate that courts have intervened to increase the mains ratio in various state public service exams to ensure fairness and provide relief to affected candidates.
