Her music reminds me of what the spirits that inhabit the forests of Iceland would sound like. Though, I've never been there. I've heard similar music in similar places in certain states of mind. Very Angelic.

Avey Tare is a lucky man: Kria is beautiful and a great song writer. This song... it's like something you'd hear in a dim woods lost at midnight, full of foxfire and will o' the wisps, as the faeries come to steal you away.

i dont really know recording stuff too well but i'd say the zoom mrs8 is good to start with, pretty easy to use but it can be limiting as you want to do more complex stuff. i'd recomend it as something to get for some beginer recording stuff. it only has 6 tracks, cant record more than 1 instrument at a time, stuff like that.

are you saying animal collective songs have no structure? or maybe you don't hear it 'cause you are like the others who just can't get into animal collective because its too "weird". And you believe that an animal collective song is composed of a few people hitting random keys on a keyboard and playing around with their mixers and making in cohesive noises that is garbage. Because thats exactly what its NOT. But you just have to be able to open up your ears and hear it. But some can't do that.
