Super star Krishna's younger brother Hanumantha Rao used to create fear and admiration in everybody around him. His nick name was 'tiger' . He was the right hand to Krishna and back bone of Padmalaya Studios as he was the MD of the studio. There are many anecdotes in the movie industry revealing his daring and dashing nature. Cent per cent true about Late Sri Hanumantha Rao garu. I had worked under him for a brief time. He recognized my ability, sincerity and honesty and he put me in a responsible position and I too showed my loyalty and honesty through my job. When there was a problem in having Hindi film out door shooting, Sri Hanumantha Rao garu organized to have the shooting at their Krishna Gardens - Chennai (studio) where there was stagnation of knee deep water by instructing me to fill the water logged area with sand (also with quary dust) and debris of demolished buildings. I had only one night time to do that project but he gave me freedom to take necessary steps as I liked. This freedom gave me a confidence that I could finish that complete work in 24 hours. I organized lorries to fill the area around one acre with the rubbish (debris & quary dust etc) and as such I could bring in 90 (ninety) loads to fill it up and levelled it by engaging laborers to have the shooting (of Sri Jitendra & Sridevi) the next day. Sri Hanumantha Rao garu came and inspected the shooting spot and appreciated me for my execution of work entrusted to me. As he gave me all the freedom of organizing it even to decide the price of purchase of the materials required for the purpose. Because of his such decision it was possible to have the shooting otherwise the call sheet dates would have been postponed to two or three months as the film was at finishing stage. Sri Hanumantha Rao garu is such a Daring & bold person and he believed in me that I could do that entrusted work as he expected. I always have high regards and respect for him.
