I believe we will start to see more of these motorcycles built solely for trackdays and in the near future all the established manufacturers will sell track only sportsbikes. And not limited editions like the Kramer/KTM RC 8C but regular production in the same way almost all the major manufacturers sell motocross/enduro motorcycles. The speed cameras and Euro 6, 7... will basically ban fast motorcycles from the road. The enthusiasts will only be allowed to ride fast in closed courses

Like much of Asia I've expected we will be reduced to things like the Underbone series in the future to be accessible. The current direction is simply not sustainable.

I had the privledge of setting up next to one of these at a track day, it was an amazing bike. The rider was incredibly friendly and happy to talk about the bike. Totally see why they cost what they cost

I still think supersport 600’s make for great track bikes and are much less than £26K.

.... not if you have carbon wheels, and all the brembo brakes etc that it has. this is also much lighter.

Save your money as it isn’t a race and you get just as much excitement at a track day so saving a few fractions of a second doesn’t matter. But….. if you do want to spend money and go race then there are many many series to race 600s in, but not many I can think of for the Kramer!

I have been hoping that KTM would make a less bespoke version of their RC8C bikes for track riding. The 890 in a sport package with Wp's up front and standard electronics would be incredibly fun on a lot of circuits.

@Alex Fracyon 890 Duke R is by far the top dog, but if you are on a budget and don’t trust KTM’s reliability etc then get the Yamaha with double the service intervals

Now who doesn't know Adam!!! He is an awesome tester/journalist/racer. As for the bike, yeah would make a good short circuit trackday bike and with all that race tech I give it a thumb's up. Only thing is it ain't no Aprilia RSV4 Factory!!! I'll stick to my track tool cos it ticks all the boxes, including looks and costs less than that!
