Yes the background scenery is loosely based on Sydney Gardens in Bath. It was a bit of an experiment which you can watch in this video -> kzbin.info/www/bejne/e6asqmR5oN10baM .. These looked reasonably OK back in 2012 but with 4K video and 3D printers, I am in the process of replacing these with new 3D printed ones, but the look and feel should be the same, it'll just look a lot better! :)

Wondering where mine has got to... no dispatch note or anything as of yet... But thanks for the video.. its not looking promising, I have between myself and a friend who knows Bulleid's very well have complied a list of areas that just unfortunately aren't correct.. But I will look forward to putting that right with some printing power. At least the wheel fell off just like the real thing lol.

I suspect they are probably still being processed through UK customs. I live in the USA, I got the GT3 a few weeks ahead of folks in the UK as well. Most of the photos of the prototype aren't the best quality, there are a couple of decent ones that Key Publishing pushed out and four over at Colour Rail. The good news is that once I put the wheel back on, it ran very well and smoothly. It is relatively easy to open but the wires have very little slack so servicing this thing could be a real pain. There are definitely some missing details but nothing you can't fix with a 3D printer.

Seems like KR Models just loves to crank out total garbage that breaks or doesn't run properly. This isn't their first failed model either. Not looking good for this company...

It would help if they listened to experts who offered to help them. Sadly I can't see them being very popular soon
