Krabi ... 30 Years Later...

Join us as we embark on a trip from Koh Kradan to Krabi, Thailand ... a place we haven’t been back to in 30 years.
Our excitement turns into disappointment when the villa we had reserved on the famous Railay Beach turns out to be on a commercial waterfront quite a walk away. But, fear not, as we quickly recover from this unfortunate incident and find alternate accommodations, after about a 20 minute longtail boat ride to Ao Nang Beach.
Krabi’s towering limestone cliffs and lush jungles are truly stunning and the vibe on Railay Beach is bohemian island cool. Still, mass tourism has clearly laid claim to the area, especially in Ao Nang. Definitely worth a visit but we wouldn’t linger and wouldn’t come back. Maybe that’s just us, your mileage may vary.

Passed right by it but wanted to see Krabi after not being there for 30 years. Hindsight is 20/20😁
