Been to Siam well over 20 times for months at a time, and never been to Ko Lanta. GORgeous video! TWO stunning aspects of it: The GREAT Beauty of your surroundings -- and -- The remarkable social emptiness of the entire scene there currently. It has seemed so obvious that Bangkok and side trips from it are definitely coming back to life .. and yet .. here you are walking on a 4KM beach and sitting in a sizable cafe, with not a single other soul on/in them. Sooo crazy!!! -- Thanks so much for your great video creations .. it really is like riding around with you, in a most wonderful way! Take care!

News coming out of Thailand is that there is a high possibility that the 2nd PCR test on day 5 is going to get dropped and a few other changes as well. Maybe then these fantastic places you share with us will become a full paradise again.

I was on Koh Lanta before Covid hit in early 2020. Lovely island, but the week I spent on Koh Jum was even more special. Would totally recommend KJ if you get a chance - it's a short boat trip away from KL, but feels like a different world.

David if i want to go directly to Koh Jum is it closer from Krabi or Trang? Was the sand whiter n water more turquoise n clear in Koh Jum compared to Koh Lanta?

@@eddies8174 hi Eddie. Koh Jum has a few nice beaches, the water is clear enough, but it's not the best in the area. The main selling point is that it's very low key, very chilled. If you like quiet, KJ is for you. Parties and clubs etc are non existent. You can get there on the Krabi Koh Lanta ferry. It stops near the main beach and your bungalow will send out a long tail to pick you up. I stayed at Jungle Hill beach bungalow which had nice traditional thai bungalow. The beach there is nice. Hope this helps??

Hi Gabi, another great video, I've been to koh lanta a few times now & its a great place to explore on a bike, to me its never been a busy place & the pace is a lot slower paced & also safer on the roads..... I must admit I miss your hair colour, but I think it was for the best.....🤭

Wow that vlog brought back memories! Stayed at that hotel for 2 weeks in 2016. Superb location and it was nice and quiet than as well. Koh Lanta is a lovely Island. Hope the weather wil get better soon. Traveling to Samui tomorrow, weather forecast seems not very good. Love the hairstyle btw! Thanx Gabi

Low season People are at work/study Resorts to me just aren't Thailand, could be anywhere. The Day1/Day5 with 10 days iso if you test positive are travel killers. Plus the costs of RTPCR tests. There are so many easier options, just as wow now.

Unfortunately not... but in the coming days the government should announce some changes to the Thailand pass. And also the insurance conditions might change again. Hopefully they will remove the day 5 pcr test 👍

Dear Gabriel and his lovely girlfriend, hi I want to thank you so much for your nice vlog of Lanta. I'm actually planning to visit Lanta at next year. Since it is a Muslim majority island it would be just great for me being able to enjoy all their HALAL Foods n drinks, since all those years in Thailand's experiences was only watching all the yummy Thai foods but mostly are "piggy stuffs added". Sounds super n it looks much calmer than Samui and all other islands. Very much looking forward to Koh Lanta. Wishing you both safety and more fulfilling trips ahead, Inshaa'Allah. Dear Mi Na, thank you very much for your kind words and it’s great to know that you are spending your honeymoon in Thailand. ☀️🇹🇭 Phuket is a great way to start your vacation. Some nice areas might be Kamala beach or Kata beach, but there are so many options and great locations in Phuket. For the island hopping, definitely consider Phi Phi island, Racha island and Krabi province (Railay beach, Koh lanta...). Right now I am in Koh Lipe and this is paradise too :) But to change things up a bit I would recommend also to visit the Samui, phangan and Koh Tao. On my channel you can find many video all around Thailand and they can give you some ideas of what you want to visit... I also have some fancy hotel reviews 😉 I wish you the best for you and your husband 🙏🏻
