I know it’s been pretty much some time since this came out and video got uploaded. I looked at many demos but it’s a bit sad nobody actually done a video on how the Vocoder work. I would like to hear it. I tried it out on my Keytar myself. But since I have no equipment for it and only phone headphones I can’t really try it out. T^T So I wish somebody could make that. Aside from that I really love my Korg RK 100s. It’s so amazing!💜
@pylon21446 жыл бұрын
未風 藍未風 藍 MLP Blaze The Half Furry CatDoll Well, the rk100s has the same synth engine as the microkorg XL, so if you find some demos of its vocoder you could get a pretty good idea of what’s possible. Or just buy a dynamic mic for like 50$.

I like the look and sound of this! I have a question though: Is it possible to find the sound you want fairly quickly using that switch? Seeing as there're only 8 buttons to store your favourite sounds, it may not be enough to rely purely on those when playing live. You'd probably want easy access to more than 8 sounds.
@EarlOfMaladyCrescent8 жыл бұрын
Veridan Ah, I see. Sounds like a better limit to store favourites. I actually forgot all about this comment, but thanks.

As the original test pilot for the Moog liberation back in the day I say it's not about the gadgets bro it's about the solo and dance moves ! Rip a solo and make it look good and not a pussy solo that sounds like bee's going overhead a real one through a Marshall stack, not a 1/2 stack the whole stack. Seriously key tars are not for playing keyboards parts ! Get your big boy pants on sling it low and find your style. Just Saying and Yes I'm the King of Keytars just ask my pool guy

can you add your own sounds on the korg rk 100s like a synthesizer? As in can I take a sound from my pc lets say electric guitar and add it to the korg rk 100s and then play it without the pc using the saved sound on the keytar? Is that possible?
@pylon21446 жыл бұрын
Nevermore Teen Titans You can create a patch using the editor software, but samples, no you can’t save them.

So I've been wanting a keytar for a while and the only ones I've seen you can only play through a computer. Is that the same with this or can I actually like play it live?

As he said in the video, it has its own analog modelling synth engine. The same own as the Microkorg XL.

@pylon21446 жыл бұрын
ANAT Studios Transposing is possible, by holding down the shift button and then pressing E and using the lever or octave buttons to select how many semitones you want to transpose

@ant99697 жыл бұрын
In a word. YES.

Anthony Ankrah i dont agree. The RK 100s have some cheap sounds
@pylon21446 жыл бұрын
Samot the rk100s has a full on synthesis engine which can be accessed using the editor software. You can make your own patches and load them in. The ax synth cannot do that.

Andrew Piatek George Duke would have loved it too. I've never understood why these these things never became more popular. Back in the day, they didn't have built in sound. But now that they do, it's a dream come true. A truly portable keyboard. What's not to love? I am curious about these "slim keys" though. Do they feel good? Is the overall action good? Any feedback would be most appreciated.
