It is absolutely impossible to overstate Kraftwerk's influence upon much of modern music. It is as though they invented the guitar and violin and piano. Beyond legends.

I’ve seen Kraftwerk twice in the USA, a rare opportunity. It’s a bit like seeing Bigfoot riding a unicorn. They were so ahead of the curve and the times their music from the 1970’s and 80’s sound like contemporary music. Computerworld basically described the internet in 1981. Uncanny and insightful. I’d go see them again given the opportunity.

Devo and a KW fan?! My bro! I once met Ralf and Florian in Detroit 98. I treasure the RA 45 they signed for me.

I have Ralf and Florian's autographs on my cassette copy of "Computer World" from the 2004 Warfield shows. Possibly my most prized possession behind the Devo signatures I've obtained over the years. Thank you Michael!

I first heard Computer World in the 70s and loved it. Devo seemed like a natural progression after that. Thanks for posting Michael!

Those creepy ambient sounds at the start when the bass kicks in, almost made me fall over when I saw them in 2018. Was standing right in front of the stage lol. They have an amazing sound system. Amazing recording!

Devo and Kraftwerk touring and even playing shows in the same city/country is just so awesome and surreal at the same time. I wonder if Devo and Kraftwerk got to meet each other? Very good video btw, this footage is immaculate 😎🔥

Pretty cool! I always thought Will Forte from SNL looked like Florian, the late group cofounder with Ralf!

I saw Devo in Melbourne at Palais on 6/12. (I even think i saw you film us in the merch line.) Then I saw Kraftwerk on 8/12. It was one of the best weeks ever.

Couldn't get to Devo & couldn't get to Kraftwerk. The flu kicked my arse big time. So annoyed we couldn't meet up.

Isn't there, like, only one member still alive?
@steve932610 ай бұрын
There are previous members that are still alive (Karl Bartos, Wolfgang Flur) but just Ralf Hutter as one of the two founding members.
