It is incredible how the songs got more rhythm on this tour.

They where much more creative in this period, back in the analogue days, sadly when they got the macs all that went, i went to a live gig recently and it just sounds all so sterile now

@@DannieGemz I had the same idea about the sound but I believe their current sound is a kind of advancement that's more relevant to our era. Their latest live shows and live/3d albums have more of a fresh minimal vibe and a very nice production.

Damn THIS sounds almost better than the original..Should've been released like this on The Computer World album!!
@zepromz4 жыл бұрын
@Kristien Robert Harland Bell-Wadge You've missed Eduardo's point. just IMAGINE that this version had been reworked and put out at the same timeframe as Computer World, maybe slightly later, this would have made an incredible B-side to "Tour De France" actually...

Is this fake 1981?
@DaveAnchovies2 жыл бұрын
@@robvanhouten why? i heard they were amazing live in the 90s, too. by 81, this could be omd or some synth pop, as synthesizers were common and compact. i still prefer the version on the album of the same name. Big Black does an excellent version of the Model that, for a normally abrasive drumbox using noisy punk band, its a tribute to the original with no synth...he plays the end all on guitar. they even did a mock cover dressed as kraftwerk and the album art.

The new rythmic arrangment is fantastic, sounds closer to the british synthpop of those years!
