Kraków Główny Railway Station, Poland - Train Arrival and Departure - Trainspotting

Nice station and train. I am thinking about coming there sometime next year. I like old building. Also I like train there. They are better than Amtrak's Amfleet train. I wish Amtrak to run nice train like Europe and Via Rail.

+Dave Olszewski Hey Dave, thanks for watching! I agree, the trains were cool and the station was really amazing. I liked how they kept the original architecture but added on so many modern conveniences. Amtrak is seems to be slowly but surely improving. It would be nice if the Acela trains were expanded beyond just the Northeast Corridor.

+Jonathan Browne Menzies I never ride on Acela before. I rode on other Amtrak train between Boston and Washington, DC few times. I like Boston and Washington because they have station in old building. One time I stopped at New York. They looks so ugly. I wish they would save old Penn Station there. How many time did you go to Poland? I never seen them before. I went to England one time in 2004. I love it. My two grandfather were born there. I hope to come there sometime next year and take train from Krakow to Wroclaw and Gdansk. Maybe I will stop at Poznan. State of Michigan was going to have new Amtrak rail cars that run between Chicago and Detroit. They never get them because federal fail their safety test. I never know when will they get them. I am getting tired of ride on Amfleet cars and Hozion car. I like Amtrak Cascade very much. They looks like Europe train because of big windows. Also I love Via Rail train.

+Dave Olszewski Hey Dave, Via Rail looks really cool, I would like to ride with them. Seems they must have some very scenic rides and the coaches look nice. I've been to Poland maybe 5 times, to Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, and Rzeszow. All beautiful cities, I love Poland! I agree with you on Boston's train station. South Station is very old but North Station is in the basement of TD Garden, sort of like NYC's Penn Station. I would like to check out DC's station though. Hope Michigan will get those new cars soon. I've seen lots of track work going on around NYC lately. I travel up to Boston quite a bit on the Acela and the amount of construction going on is amazing. I think appreciation of rail travel is on the upswing, we just have to be patient. Best wishes for your future travels!

Hey, Did you go on South Shore Line train? They are oldest railroad in USA. I rode there many time. I miss riding their orange train. I saw old orange cars at Michigan City and Elkhart. I saw photo of other station at New York. They looks pretty. I never seen it. I don't know where was it. Also King station in Seattle are beautiful after restoring. They were much better than 10 years ago. I remember they had ugly tile ceiling with ugly light fixtures. Now they have original ceiling there with pretty brass light fixtures. Also I saw other station one block away. They were old station and have tiles on floors and wall. They were beautiful. I need to go to Portland, OR next time. They have beautiful station with lounge. It was good that you go to Poland about 5 times. I hope I will go there next year or in two years. I love to see many old building and passenger trains there. I went to England in 2004. They were nice. I rode on many train there. I went to Old Quebec by train two months ago. I love it very much. I like train and old building there. I want to go back there again sometime in Summer or Fall. Maybe next year. Thanks for replied. Have a nice day!
