No going away video for Grubauer, looks like. Perhaps it's not custom to do such a thing. Still, after all the times the Seattle crowd chanted "Gruuu" after his saves, all that love and support, to now look away and pretend he wasn't there seems odd to me.

He's not out of the organization. They are hoping to rehab his game and pull him back up.

@ColinHurkett no worries 😀 I'm not sure your level of hockey knowledge, so just in case you don't already know the way waivers work in hockey is different than other sports. Similar to baseball but more cut and dry. The player gets put on waivers, all 31 other teams have a chance to claim them outright and if nobody does the player goes straight to the minors (for us Coachella Valley Firebirds)

@xxstrifexx3592 That much I knew. I just hadn't received an impression that there was serious hope for Grubauer to recapture his old game, or if people were only saying that to be polite. If he could eventually show himself worthy of playing for the Kraken again, I wouldn't complain about him returning.

@ColinHurkett I'm hopeful, he was a good goalie before he came here and he's shown flashes. If he can get his game back we could go far 😀
