Sweet bash thunder ⚡, I think that thing is about as fast if not faster than the xmaxx and kraton 8s, if it just had the edges of the chassis bent up at a 60° angle it would be so much stronger, but 7075 is definitely going to help, it was shredding that field

How about bending it back and bolting two stock chassis together? Or cutting the stock chassis up and installing it as a bashbar about 3" wide on the bottom of the new chassis? Just some cheap ideas if you're getting a new chassis anyway.

It needs a brace from front to rear like the MAXX and Arrma vehicles, still not sold on the electric model, I have eight gas plus a UDR, SBR and the Ken Block ZD Racing Mustang in electric don't run these as often as my gas offroad trucks and buggies but may buy a 1/5th scale touring or rally car but not sure if they will be gas or electrickery.

2wd is fine with 1/5 scale unless you are talking about hard braking. That is the only issues i have with 2wd above 1/6 scale. Anything under 1/6 scale in 2wd is a problem under throttle on loose surfaces and under hard braking on all surfaces. Smith RC Studios does a lot of Kraken Vekta 5 stuff and Large Scale RC Nation is good with the 5ive T platform (which may help you with the 5ive T clones). Also, can confirm you are seriously addicted to 1/5 scale. Lol.

That is insane "just" on 8S! Acceleration is already maxxed-out, and top speed looks rather fast. Flies great. Looks better balanced and more bashable than my HPI 5B Flux. Got to say that is one nice thing about a 2WD 1/5 scale; 8S should be all the power you need. Still, look forward to seeing it on 12S...overpowered maybe? hope it is controllable! Maybe if you have a big enough space to roll into the throttle and top it out on 12S, that would be epic. Yeah I like this electric version for sure. Interested to see how the Taylor RC chassis works out...I checked it out on their website...it sure looks beefy! I wonder, it it were to get all the aluminum upgrades from Kraken and Taylor, if the 8S would still be enough.
