I don't know much about airsoft, but I wonder, why does everyone hate speedsofters? As long as it's legal, as long as it applies with the rules of the game and the players don't spray a whole mag into your face, I really don't see a problem here. Everyone has different tactics, they don't have to play the way you'd like them to. Then again, I don't know airsoft and I've never done it, so explain to me why it's wrong, I'd like to understand your reasons.

As stated above, it’s because of the toxic players of the style. Speed soft is fast paced and flashy, which is something people whom wish to be Master Chief or Doom Guy will love, as well as those who have oversized egos. Cheaters and toxic players alway have oversized egos. So the play style is disproportionately prone to getting these people when compared to other styles. Tactical plays would be especially wary of speed softers as they can ruin their entire plan by rushing ahead, giving away the attack route and alerting the opponents, forcing the others to either fight in an unfavorable position or wait for a later opportunity.

Answering a few years late But it's because they were often the edgiest and most toxic teenagers possible, using speedball paintjob tactics in CQB arenas, drastically shifting how those arenas are set up by profit motivated owners. The edgy toxicity was the main part Those original speedsofters are now 20-30 so most have mellowed out and lost most of the toxicity

Fun fact: only about 7% of all speedsofters ive played with (i play indoor so its a lot of hpa tapped speedsofters) are and were actually "toxic". The rest of the community has disowned them and sometimes will mag dump cheaters from pointblank.

Just call out when you're hit and don't mag dump and everything Will be fine everybody can get along. I wouldn't mind seeing Mixed teams of speedsofters and milsim guys as long as everyone follows the rules. It's a different playstyle with its advantages but a lot more risky in a milsim Type match and setting that would require a ton of skill and thinking to pull of succesfully. As long as you don't cheat that is

But on the topic of speedsoft itself i think there’s actually quite a few that use AEGs rather than HPA because of simplicity (no tanks, hoses etc). And those that HPA are typically migrate to tanks connected directly to the stock (like paintball). Keep it uop! Great stuff 💥💯

Speedsofting isn't about looks. It's about playing very offensively and aggressively in CQB environments. You don't need hi-capa M4. An electric pistol, tracer, 1200 lumen flashlight and 4 100 round mags do the trick. When I ran this, I killed so many speedsofters and got 50+ kills.

when i was young i used to scoff at speedsofters, and look up to full hardcore millsimmers, but now that im older the idea of walking around with real ballistic plates and pretending to roleplay professional soldiers, addressing your friends by ranks, paying extra for genuine graphic& logos of weapon manufacturers(''licensed by'') on your toy gun, not to mention real firearm optics on there, etc... to put it short: all that seems cringe to me now, what i used to think was cool AF the speedsoft, doesnt matter if its in the forrest, or the cqb, thats where the main fun is run around and enjoy it for what it is

As a speedsofter I can say, the few that cheat ruined the rest of us' reputation. Trust me, when a speedsofter doesnt call thier hits when shot by a nother speedsofter lets just say they will have a solid, 2 inch wide red line going down thier body. Once thier were these 2 guys who kept sweeping and not not calling thier hits. So about 15 hpa tapped, 30-80rps speedsofters some with binary triggers sat at this one corner for them to come running through (3 of them used full auto on them). Lets just say they never cheated again. Also this video is so true for 2020😂.
