Thank you for the great guide! I have personally found that loot spec does indeed matter when earning the unique weapons. I'm using a Warlock, Paladin, Shaman, and Hunter to get as many as I can. Warlock for Staff, Dagger, Wand, Sword and Off-hand; Paladin set to Prot spec to focus on one-handed weapons or shields, or Ret spec for two-handed weapons (Holy will drop one- or two-handers or shields); Shaman set to Elemental to focus on one-handers, non-sword two-handers, staff, or shield, or Enhancement to focus on the one-handers only (especially fists); Hunter set to Marksmanship for bows and guns, but Survival in case I see there is only a polearm I still need. You could technically farm with a Warrior, Hunter, and clothie only, but I find that the Warrior has such a huge weapon selection that it is hard to target specific drops. The LFR ones are hard to get because LFR bosses only drop 1 piece of gear and it is usually armor. Also, the Mythic raid ones are hard of course because you will need to be well geared.

Loot spec absolutely matters. After a couple weeks looting for Beast Mastery Hunter, I switched to Survival and immediately lots of new 2H weapons started dropping from the same raids I had already done many times previous.

@@Stealyblaid Remix is based on MoP weapon tables, which did not include glaives because the DH class did not exist yet. From my understanding, DH in Remix will just loot one-handed swords, axes, and fists. I find that shamans are better for collecting items because you can swap to Elemental loot spec to open up things like daggers and shields, or swap to Enhancement loot spec to focus on maces, axes, and fists.

Nice video. I concentrated on getting one character to max lvl i476 then just by completing the scenario/dungeon/raid daily then running all 5 raids on heroic nets around 115000 bronze each day. Without using frogs or other hacks, I’ve now bought all the mogs and mounts available from the infinite bazaar. 😊

Tip: Changing your loot specialization under the settings in your character portrait will drop different/weapons tints if you've already gotten the ones you wanted for your current spec without having to play that spec.

Handy tidbit, set your Hearthstone to a hard to reach area (long travel distance) like Isle of Thunder or Timeless Isle, you can use your Nostwin's Voucher to 'hearth' to Shrine of Two Moons/Seven Stars. Unlike other areas though it doesn't have a return function from those two places. So what I do is I have my Hearthstone set to Timeless Isle, I go and do the world bosses/rares and dailies on the mainland, fly to Isle of Thunder, do all that stuff there and then I hearth back to Timeless Isle. When I'm done farming there I just use the Nostwin's Voucher and then I'm back at Shrine of Two Moons to upgrade and buy stuff.

Timeless Isle has the teleport toy at revered(?) reputation with Shaohao, I believe. Isle of Thunder has nothing, the toy you get from the questline can only be used while inside the Isle of Thunder. Maybe the raids too, never actually thought to test it out.

The Nostwin's Vouchers are the best bet, you get tons of them and its basically a free heart to the home city shrine (moon/stars) if used at the Isle of Thunder and Timeless Isle.

You can buy an item on the Timeless Isle that is permanent that let's you teleport there. Personally I do all the world bosses every day on my main, so I have my hearthstone in Halfhill so I can get to Galleon fast. Log in -> Shrine capital -> Pick up dailies -> Fly to Sha world boss -> Oondasta -> Teleport to Halfhill -> Galleon -> Fly to Isle of Thunder and kill Nalak -> Do the Trove of the Thunder King scenario -> Use item to teleport to Timeless Isle -> Pick up the 3 dailies(will stop doing these when I have Shaohao exalted) -> Celestials world boss -> Ordos -> Will farm mobs in either the Ordos courtyard or near Jakur of Ordon(hoping to get his toy so I don't have to buy it) while in dungeon/LFR queues -> Turn in quests -> Teleport to Shrine and turn in dailies -> Then I do N/H/M raids if I have the time and willpower and end the day at Shrine to do the same thing the next day again :P

Hey Kraken, thanks for the vid. So my main tactic has been level then with my growing alt army do the daily scenario, dungeon and raid lfr on repeat for 4-5 alts so far. Seems to have worked out ok so far. But your right the whole point of this event for me is to get a shed load of alts and heritage armors. Im going to keep leveling. The bronze you get by 70 should be more then enough if you do 10+ alts.

This is a good way to do things. On my first character (a dwarf protection paladin), I have done every zone so far and have completed normal mode of each raid to get my necklace. I never considered doing dailies for factions I had hit exalted on as a source of extra caches. Good idea.

The fastest way is of course to make starter edition and run hc dungeons non stop. The other way is the following: 1. Turn off Autoloot - Do not loot Bonus XP items 2. 10-25 | 8 Random HC Dungeons 3. 25 | Normal MV Raid = 72% Cloak XP 4. 26-35 | 6 Random HC Dungeons 5. 35 | Normal HOF = 72% Cloak XP 6. 36-40 | 2 Random HC Dungeons 7. 40 | Normal TOES = 48% Cloak XP 8. 41/42 Open all XP items from mail

@@laobaba If you're just trying to get to lvl 70 this would probably be faster. But given that you're not looting as you go, I think you would end up with less bronze. If you are looting without auto loot off, you would be way too slow in dungeons and raids.

My only real advice is figure out what class and spec have the fewest options for the weapon you want. Assasin/Subtlety Rogues can only loot daggers, and Beast Mastery/Marksman hunters are the only ones that can loot bows/guns/crossbows. Warriors being transmog masters actually hinder them in this one regard.

In TWW your character list will be realm agnostic for the warband, and you can swap them in and out freely. I recommend you just make your characters for remix on a different server.

Notably you can buy the ensembles on a char who is not that class once you've done the achievs on one. Just select the drop down for items not for your class. If you're not up for creating a 10th alt that's probably the way to go as 6k bronze isn't that much of a cost, especially since the landfall questline in particular isn't particularly fast with a whole lot of slowly taking a kite across the entire continent. It's also been nice with all these alts to *level multiple RACES as well as classes* as an excuse to finally unlock some of those neat heritage armor questlines. As far as skipping questlines I found it more fun at least to do the zones in order and take my time, since the zones scale to your level mostly and you'll wind up doing them all by the end anyway if you're leveling that many alts. Just speedrun your new timerunners to where they can start one of the later zones that you didn't get to by the time you hit 70. (10-20 or 30 takes no time at all with a few queues) It is genuinely fun to re-experience the full zones as intended. So my first char wound up being 70 by the time they finished jade forest, krasarang, and valley, second character I rushed to start kun'lai ASAP and finished every quest there, etc. It's not always clarified which are "campaign quests" properly so just doing them all anyway for that reason as well or you'll likely get stumped a few times trying to speedrun them.

I've been targeting a lot of the weapons on alts. The raid finder ones are a little easier for me because I can queue as a healer and nuke bosses. I did guardians of Mogushan so many times that I got the too many instances lock. There's so many people carrying at this time that raids are pinatas that last less time than your hearthstone CD. I'm just crazy enough to try for all the weapons on the tally though. We can finally have Taoshi's sais!

for anyone who is okay with doing dungeons/raids (dungeon finder and lfr), then it is way faster to do heroic dungeons until u hit the level requirements for each lfr raid. 25/35/40/45, I think are the numbers but I would double check. Turn off auto loot, just loot the gear only. You wil recieve the 7% bonux xp thread in your bags, make sure to always activate those. You will get mailed all the bonus xp from dungeon bosses. Simply open your mailbox once u finish all the lfr raids ending at ToT (not SoO). I split it over 2 days and each day I make sure to do the daily quests in the hub. The ones that make u do dungeons, raids, and a scenario. But u can easily do it in 1 day. However, keep in mind this only works when u are leveling an alt. Because u start with 100% bonus xp gain on the cloak. You cannot do this method on a new character. Edited for clarity.

I’m gearing up a paladin and it is grueling. I want to do it because I’ve never been good in raids and good gear is the thing to get 60K bronze for every level.

Hmm? It’s a little less than 40k bronze to upgrade everything 1 level. It’s still a lot, but it’s not too terrible if you aren’t in a rush. It takes me around two days to get everything leveled up once, just playing 3-4 hours each day. Doing the 4 randoms and 3 bazaar dailies all award 1250 bronze each which, along with the bronze you get while waiting in queue & doing the instance, should put you over 10k bronze easily. The other 9-10k I get from questing/killing rares/world bosses/scrapping. I’m also gearing up a Paladin, and in about a week I should be at the maximum gear level 😊

@@Scuuurbs Sheesh, i started yesterday and i have lvl 70 and i earn around 150K bronze each day. I killing all world boss, do all LFG stuff, raids, rares and also scenerio. its takes 4-5 H. Raids are the longest ones. My friend tell me that u can easily level up all 50 characters in 5 days [its the limit]. If u stay at lvl 25 and do only 1 raid per day on each character without obtaining exp for killing bosses (leave instance without picking it, it will be automated send to your mailbox) then stacking XP bonus (+12% per boss/+100% per raid each day) and then after 5 days pick up all the XP from mailbox with +/- 600% exp bonus. U get 70 lvl without doing much. With 25 lvl and stat bonus i can solos normal raid. Do it everyday on all 50 chars (its takes 15 minutes per char if u have booster in group)

while this is a great guide i would only do this for one character for the achievements and just doing the quests and do the rest of the alts with the lvl 20 trial méthode because i wont enjoy doing this 8 times tbh but i did 8 alts in 2 days with the self boosting that's correct counting myself only because in the dj we are 5 and 2 are my characters so i boosted people too and my friends alts along the way if we do it as group it would be giga efficient

I'm still buffled by Blizzard making all those armor ensambles purchasable and learnable by any class/armory type, only to spread around bunch of unique weapon transmog that you have to farm on at least 4 different classes, that also need to be fully upgraded to farm uniques in heroics/mythic raids.

Just some FYIs for PUGing (TL:DR - I make 12k doing dailies in ~30 minutes) 1. There's a 90% chance that whatever you queue for will have a carry, and all you will do is be running and looting 2. Queueing for raids gives you a 7% xp cloak buff. It might be worth it to queue for a raid or two near the beginning. The chances of a carry are almost guaranteed, so the fact that you might never have stepped foot in a raid or don't know how to play your class is irrelevant. (I'd recommend the very first one on the list, takes 2-3 minutes). 3. If you do a random normal and heroic scenario and dungeon, plus an LFR, you'll get around 12k bronze. Usually takes me about 30 minutes (20 if I get lucky on the dungeons/scenarios, 45 with super bad luck). The trick is to queue for a scenario, dungeon, and raid all at the same time, then as soon as a scenario/dungeon finishes "leave instance group" and then queue for the heroic version. Make sure to pick up the dailies! They're available in any timerunner market. 4. If you don't want to risk heroics you'll probably net around 9k bronze, but your time will probably be 15-20 minutes (since you're still getting all three daily quests, and the raid is so short). Like I said, 90% of the time heroics are no issue, but if you don't have a carry you might have to work for it (and if everyone is undergeared, they can become nigh impossible - luckily for me I've gotten enough threads on my main I can shoulder a heroic, it just takes longer).

Awesome video and ty. Here is my way to get bronze to buy everything 😂. 11 alts done already. Here is how I did it: -make sure cloak is max on your first toon - turn off auto loot. once on alt begin spamming heroic dungeons and NEVER pick up xp tokens from dead boss(very important). All will be sent to mailbox -as u level up pay attention to raid wings opening. Do them all as they open. -Once your cloak is close to 200% xp or around lvl 55(toon), then open your mailbox. - all that xp would be at 200%+ xp -once done, u should be close to 70. Now just turn on auto Loot and just do heroics. You will hit 70 in a few minutes 😂. Cheers!

Best way to level I have found is dungeon all the way to 42 and don’t loot bosses, get add on to pick up xp% boost threads only then loot all the bosses xp things since your cloak bonus will be a lot higher you either hit 70 instantly or close to it

“Remix Mail Helper” after you get it, in your mailbox it’ll be at the top it says “loot items” and it leaves the xp in there so you get the gear etc as you go and then just open all at level 42

I must have done something terribly wrong. It took me around 3 hours to finish Krasarang, and I don't have reputation with the Domunance, so I cannot do the quests for landfall, and I cannot hand charms to get rep. Also, I'm lvl 50 and all I have is 24K bronze. Not sure if this guide is outdated, but it seems to have been nerfed. Found the reason: After patch 11.0, there is a bug with reputtation from them. Check out the forums. I don't think I will be able to get the rewards of remix.

while I don't usually continue to do dailies with a faction once I've hit exalted, I do for remix bronze and thread rewards in Remix. Also, you can learn fishing and do the fishing dailies from Nat Pagle.

I found a way of getting up to 100k+ bronze in about 2 hrs. You will need a lvl 70 character. Numbers are calculated with a buff for caches that gives u 100% boost to amount of bronze from caches 1)Run your nm/hc instances and scenarios and 1 raid finder once, plus complete your dailies (approx 16-20k bronze in about 20-30 min) 2)Create a group called “World Tour Blast 476” and then run all the raids on HC difficulty (usually takes about 3-5 min to form a group and your ilvl doesn’t matter cause u will get carried, accept only 476s). Takes about 1.5 hrs to do all 5 raids with a 10 man group of 476s. Did these 2 days in a row, each run is approx 90k bronze. Combined with dailies -around 105-110k bronze. Also for leveling alts - there’s a faster way: Create a lot of alts. Level to lvl 40. While leveling - focus only on raids, dungeons and scenarios. No leveling in open world. During clears - don’t pick up loot from any bosses, since at lvl 40 your exp buff from cloak is at its max. And all your bonus xp from raids, etc will scale up too. So level your alts to lvl 40 and then at lvl 40 just go to your mailbox and open all mails. Instant lvl 70.

Not sure what I did wrong, but it took me 15 hours to get to max doing this, vs 6 with the mailbox xp method. I admit I did enjoy doing some outdoors content, and killing rares with a pali is fun. But I wouldnt want to raise an army this way. I ended with 155k bronze, but bronze drops were increased this past week

I can confirm the RNG weapons are not spec specific but are class specific , I was able to drop shields spec loot as fury and twohanded weapons as prot with similar results in other class but I never dropped a bow for example because warrior doesn't use bows even though it can equip them.

With Blood DK I got only 2H weapons and with frost only 1H, so I guess it is somewhat spec dependent

When my pally is set to Prot loot spec, I get one-handers and shields exclusively, and when in Ret loot spec I get two-handers exclusively, without exception. Maybe you waited to open reward boxes after changing loot spec, or maybe open world drops from rares are only class (and not spec) specific the way that world quest gear rewards are in Retail?
