Every bamboo tree has paper inside of it. But the bamboo tree needs to be young and the leaves just came out (about 15 inches) then you can use the tree to make sticky rice. The bamboo paper inside can hold the sticky rice after grilling. I saw you cutting very old bamboo trees when you make your sticky rice because you do this the bamboo paper is not holding the sticky rice.
