Great to see such enthusiasm and love for the decade that was the most awesome ever for Metal/Hard Rock music! Those who were there (next month I'll be 51 🙄...) know it well and remember... But, Dagan, really you should have been born 20 years earlier! 😆 It would have been the perfect era for you! 😄 Ah, to find young people like this to start a (Metal) band again... 🙄 My hair are all still here, grey but still long 😄! I have an original Baretta that I bought when I was a teen. If memory serves, that guitar ran me just under $800, a lot of money for a teenager in 1984. I love it still. One thing that really stands out about it is the sustain and the weight, it is twice as heavy as my strat. It's also quite loud when played acoustically compared to most electric guitars, which is nice for noodling. It also makes a mean blues guitar when called upon, very soulful and authoritative (if you are).

Slightly. Usually the closer to the neck, the more "bassy" and warm and towards the bridge it's more articulate bright and middy. That said, it's still a bridge pickup, so it's only a slight difference.

I traded my friend my wolfgang standard for his pink baretta vintage. He wasn't thrilled with how it sounded and honestly I wasn't either. It sounded like the output just wasn't there and I'm still not sure why, very flat and lifeless. I have many guitars with a JB in them and it's one of my absolute favorite pickups. I don't know if the JB in it was wired incorrectly but I snipped out the treble bleed cap, it helped. But not that much. So I changed out the pot for a dunlop 500k super pot, it didn't change much. So I swapped out the JB with a seymour duncan perpetual burn and the guitar came alive. It's probably my favorite guitar to play now. I suspect there is something wrong with the jb I pulled out of it because I have four other guitars with a jb in the bridge and they all sound fantastic.

Hi Degan, I’M very interested in those Kramer Baretta Vintage. I already Own 2 Baretta Special, and one The 1984 ( white One ) like your precedent vids. You sold it to me with your 80S capsule. I would like to know how the Baretta Vintage sound compare to the Special or the 1984. I do prefer the tone of the Spécial, particularly the one i put a Seymour Duncan JB. The special have a warmer , rounder tone compare to my 1984. Does the Baretta Vintage way brighter ? I fear that a bit since the body is mapple . I find the 1984 with is Alder Body pretty bright, nerly too bright, I have change the pick up for an EVH Franky, and change my set up to compensate for that problem ( for me). Also how the neck feels compare to the special, and the 1984 . Thank you to let me know. Regard’s Pierre

I’ll say this. My Kramer that was only $179 gave me more excitement than my kh2. It even keeps up with my custom prs’s. It even matched my schecter 8 string. I can only imagine what this one would do. Honestly I feel it would just be the same guitar but without the nightmare tuning issues and a real Floyd rose. Therefore I think the price is hiked more than it needs to be but I understand them wanting to make a profit. Not that it should be this way but I believe that by them putting it at a price point they did it made it so the public could take it more seriously because the price tag isn’t cheap. Seriously try their $179 model.

floydrose trems are very difficult for new players as they have to be balanced / setup correctly. The special has a simpler trem system on it so you can go between tunings easier. The strat style trem on the special isn't locked either so string changes are far easier. Hope this helps!!!!
