Alot of the Greek mythology stories are inconsistent, Athena was believed to be Virgin all her life yet in Percy Jackson she has a daughter. As for ares inspite of being a character of brutality he had respect for women. Bottom line in spite of the true origins of Greek culture of what was the starter stories, in the end they're still stories one can put their own twist in. Personally I'm all for loki being more of a brother to Hella than her actual father cause let's be honest it sells loki short for him to be the father of hell by Association and not by actual merit since his daughter is the queen of hell. Yet hades coexists with hades apparently? Honestly we should be asking ourselves if there's two gods of hell then who's the second rate out of the two?

Depends. In OG myth, the hammer can shrink to be small enough to carry in a pocket. So it may be just as heavy as its owner/person holding it wants it to be at any given time.
