KRATON 6s Upgrades

Hope you're happy with the 15tooth. That's what I have running in the kraton and Outcast. Most try to say it'll get hot quicker, well that's why we have 100-75-50 throttle. And with the 15 tooth, if you run 4s at 100% feels like the 12 tooth on 6s. 17 tooth on my Typhon 6s and it's a blast especially with Mojave tires.

I have always stuck with stock gearing as I rarely ever reach top speed anyways. So I figure why put the strain on the motor with a bigger gear when I’m not going to use all of it. Been awhile since you posted about this car. How’s it holding up for you?

True! I like to change the gearing if I’m having a hard time getting it to backflip. I know the tires can make a difference with that as well. Yeah I sold the Kraton before I went to Korea. I still have the Typhon and now the Traxxas XRT. I’m actually able to start posting again now that I am back in the states.

Nice video man!! Crysral clear 👌🏾It's nice to see more and more different guys in the rc scene! N yes the 15t gear is wayy better for the kraton. It's the perfect gearing. If you ever decide to beef up the shock towers I highly recommend m2c racing. Then you don't need the tower to tower brace. I've heard it causes more harm than good 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hey Eric I see you are pretty new to the RC thing, I am too. Great video s so far. I also have the Typhon 3s and the Kraton 6s mine is a V4. I have the M2C shock towers and standoffs, they're great. No bending issues anymore.

nice I just got an exb mmx8s and 1717 can its a beast 18 t pinion it's starting to get warm I added a xmaxx heatsink and arrma 40 mm fan seems to be good now 20t going on next wheelie monster very fast

14t for me its the sweet spot its a bit uncontrolable maybe because of the motor timing being stupid high that also causes a lot of heat

What’s ur punch setting at with the 15t pinion? I’m running an 18t and had to turn it down to 5 because it was way to much

I run my v1 4s 19t and it’s a monster! Oh and proline 3.8 mt. Bad lands! Same diff set up as yours

Can you connect 2 batteries or just one?

You can definitely connect two 3S lipos. I just choose to run one 6s.

Contact arrma and they will send you a new ESC they sent me a new 1 for free , took about 2 weeks. Sent a pic of receipt and esc

So what is supposed to be better? That is what I use. XT90 is still a decent connector.
