Just about every death of a god or any other person related to the Greek Pantheon was horrifying. Some more brutal than others. Poseidon got numerous concussions, had his eyes squished inwards, and his neck snapped, Heracules got his head smashed in, Icarus had his wings ripped off and was left to fall into Tartarus (I think it was Tartarus; he at least fell into the Underworld), Midas (the man who could turn anything he touched into gold) was thrown into lava to turn it into a gold bridge (all while he was melting and burning alive and then turned into gold right afterwards), Hades had his own soul ripped away from him, Hephaestas got cucked (Kratos slept with his wife Aphrodite) and then got stabbed, and Helios obviously had his head stretched from his body and being ripped from it. As horrifying as Helios' death was, there are other deaths that were far worse than that. Even when Cronos swallowed Kratos, he was being gutted from the inside and had his own gutts falling out of his stomach and was them killed by the Blade of Olympus.
