That's the entire point of the god of war series. Having kratos move like asura in gameplay mechanics would make the game boring for most players. God of war is a way more popular franchise because of how the gameplay is constructed. It's not over the top. Hence why novels etc are made to get a grasp on how op he is. Alot of game characters face the same issue by being restricted by gameplay mechanics aka dante, doom slayer etc. Even the director for God of war aka cory barlog made a statement about feats for the game when asked about it. He said that kratos is only limited by gameplay mechanics and how the game is constructed and urged fans to look into lore statements and the novels more to get a grasp on how strong he actually is. He gives this answer when a fan asked him about kratos struggling to open chests but he throws back the colossal of Rhodes in gow 2.

In speed they forgot certain details, such as the fact that he surpasses Zeus, who are superior to his warriors who can travel at the speed of light (according to ascension), or the fact that he can be comparable to the Valkyries who can travel between realms at will As for experience, Asura is older so that section is fine. Also, given Sackboy vs Maxwell may one day happen, here's some Sackboy scaling: Sackboy scales anywhere from infinitely into 2-A to Low 1-C (5-D) with hax ranging from 1-C to High 1-A depending on interpretation. Kratos killed a weakened and chained Cronos. The Freyr feat is questionable because we know that the GoW world has different pantheons in different areas of the world. Ragnarok just destroyed Asgard. This is when in lore it’s supposed to be the entire universe but we know that’s not true since the next game taking place in Egypt with an entire new group of pantheons. It’s the old Feats vs Statements argument that has plagued powerscalong arguments forever. Looking forward to Simon vs Kyle Rayner, I’m sure Kyle will win tho since they’re D.C fanboys but hopefully it’s a close match.

Now that was a great episode. Probably number 4 for me, but number 1 is still Scooby vs Courage, which ironically had a good reference to Asura's Wrath. The alt ending of the episode was a nice surprise, I kind of thought, story-wise it was better, but I have to say Kratos wins for the reasons they gave. A LOT better than I expected. TBH, I am not to big on this one because I have no attachment to either. But the run downs and fight were perfect. Captured both well, and did a good way and doing both sides justice. Overall a 10/10 for it's presentation and animation. But I will say I might have liked it more had I been more invested in both of them and was a fan of them. I don't think either are awful characters, but I am still not a huge fan of either, but this episode showed exactly what both should be like. Awesome episode. Really hope to see some more goofy ones in the future though. This was a lot of fun, but episodes like Scooby vs Courage and Bowser vs Eggman are my favorite type. Probably my favorite serious episode was this one, but still. I mean I love a good cool match, like Bloom vs Will (Winx vs W.I.T.C.H.) or Solgaelo vs Amaterasu (Pokémon vs Okami), but I really want to see some sillier things like a battle of the comedic Batman parodies Darkwing Duck vs Larry-Boy (Disney vs VeggieTales) Also, I love how we previously had Kratos vs Spawn, and now Kratos returns and IMMEDIATLY after that Spawn returns.

As much as I would like to avoid a comment section war, that's a straight up lie, they not only showed Asura's win as an alternate ending but they straight up said 'The winner is Kratos' at the end. Saying both won is simply not true, one got an entire result section saying why **they believe** Kratos wins, Asura didn't get that.

@brentjones905 well I guess your right, now that I think of it, it’s a big reason why people hated bowser vs eggman, as they didn’t put everyone at their peak, giving mechs to eggman that he never had access to multiple times, eggman only using these powerups and mechs once and why death battle said as inconsistent. So again, thanks for correcting me, it’s just sometimes, I really do want characters I love win, but I’m pretty sure everyone wants that.

Space connects all planets, yet nobody argues that Earth is bigger than space. Yggdrasil is a similar case as it not only connects several realms, but is depicted as so massively larger than it transcends space-time...which would put them on a level so massively beyond Asura that "infinite" is too short to describe it. But Death Battle went with the more general audience-friendly universe calculation.

Kratos won only because he is a much more popular character, and the authors of the channel did everything so that he would win in their video. But if think about it a little logically - Asura blocked an attack that would easily have wiped the earth into dust. Kratos was not even close to capable of anything like that. In fact - he has never even been in space, and his enemies are Titans and half-breed Titans who call themselves gods, while Asura defeated the creator himself, the true god of his universe.

@@thedarkderp2520 My post describes the situation between Kratos and Asura, not Spawn, and for some strange reason the authors of the mortal battle did not focus on the situation I described above, although in my opinion, Kratos did not do anything close to that. As for Spawn, I am not his fan, and I did not watch their video, but I will risk assuming that perhaps they simply assessed him more honestly than they did with Asura.

Assuming they are the same size (and rightfully assuming that the statue Chakravartin created was a laughable portion of what Chakravartin was capable of), Asura wins easily.
