Despite initially set to lead the charge for Sony's Spider-Man Universe in the summer, Kraven the Hunter's release date has been delayed. The next installment in the SSU will explore the origin story of its titular Spider-Man villain as he discovers his ability to communicate with animals and uses it to hunt down his criminal father after being left for dead during a hunt. Aaron Taylor-Johnson leads the Kraven the Hunter cast alongside Russell Crowe, Ariana Debose, Fred Hechinger, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola and Levi Miller.
Sony Pictures has announced that Kraven the Hunter's release date has been delayed. The latest installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe was originally set for an August 30 premiere and will now hit theaters on December 13, nearly a full four months after its prior date. This now puts the movie's release after fellow SSU title Venom: The Last Dance, which is currently set for an October 25 release.

@@spiderxparker_ Fair enough. Well it is a new age after all. Why tell Studios what you think they should do to make a coming movie better? Show them instead. Not like Studios are so easily swayed but at least it opens up dialogue at this level. AI or not my facts still stands. The movie has still been pushed back to let Venom The Last Dance go first. Maybe this trailer has a point. Maybe the movie does need something more to grab audiences and get them into theaters. Presently it feels like they made Kraven into John Wick. Maybe it needs more than what it's trailers have shown before. We will see.

Boy, this is half finished; using AI for half the shots, and now it seems Kraven is just the son of the real Kraven with an American accent. I thought this was going to be bad, but this is way worse. I don't like to hate on things as I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but at this point, literally no one is looking forward to this. These writers need to realize the genre is called super'heroes' for a reason, you can't write a good story with these characters as the lead, it just doesn't work, and who would want it to work anyway? People crowd out the theaters for superHEROES, not supervillain leads or just people in regular clothes. Spider-verse has something going, just focus on more of that.

I hope that's the one that they put out, because it showcased a movie on the level of Venom, possibly better, and made Moribus and Madame Web look like fan films.
