Beautiful country with beautiful kind people. I was there during the peace keeping process with the US ARMY in Tuzla . It was great to talk with the locals especially the children whom I love because they showed me love and joy despite their living situation and conditions because of the war. My most fondest memories were all of the attention that I received as a black US soldier because most of the people had never seen a black man before and if they did it was through the lens of TV. They would call me Chocolate or Chaco- lata. I remember being in a small town parked in my humvee next to a bus stop drawing a crowd as I took off my gloves, goggles and cavalier and was swamp by folks especially the women and children. At first I didn’t understand what was going on and felt a bit nervous. They all wanted to touch me, and when the children touched me they would smell their hands and say “Choco- lata Choco- Lata”!! My interpreter told me that they thought my skin was covered in chocolate and I would smell like chocolate 🍫 WOW 🤩 I Will cherish the thought of that until the day that I die hopefully not soon. The women made me feel like I was an exotic piece not bragging but this happened everywhere I went with my squad or platoon. But of course there were sad occasions and stories told to me by the people of Bosnia. I want to go back one day now that it’s a possibility to see what it looks like as a tourist. I actually grew to love the people very fast because a lot of their despair reminded me of growing up in my neighborhood minus blown up buildings etc etc. Lots of orphans running around in different locations some locations more than others and being told by children horror stories that still haunts me. But I would still see smiles on faces and that kept my spirits high and made me want to be there more and more just to give them love and the same attention that I received. But hey I can go on and on about that particular time in my life my therapist told me to write about it and one day I will. Peace and Love to all humanity and God bless us all.

The accusations you levelled at Australia, specifically how its government its failing its people and its historic treatment of its natives is certainly true, I can't argue with you on that one, but to follow those accusations by mentioning you're from Brazil would almost be comical in its hypocrisy if it wasn't for the serious situation your country is in and its failings in both those counts.

@@vyo1923 Very cool, come again when ever you want! 😍 Bosnia and Herzegovina is a really nice country with good people and a lot of history! I can recommend you my hometown Ljubuški! You can visit there many beautiful places like the fortress of “Herceg Stjepan” on the mountain above the town. There are also many other smaller waterfalls like: “Koćuša” or “Čeveljuša”. The waterfall Kravice (from this video) is also a part of our municipality. There are other stunning places in Hercegovina too: for example Neum (on the Adriatic coast), the town Čapljina, nature park „Blidinje“ or the lake „Hutovo blato“… In the last years there are really a lot of tourists that are visiting our region: from all around Europe and the World. In Herzegovina is all near, it’s an ideal region for tourists and nature lovers. The Croatian Coastline and historic citys like Mostar/Sarajevo/Split/Dubrovnik are near. There are many lakes and rivers like “Trebižat” and “Neretva” where you can swimm on summerdays. By the way: The river Neretva is the coldest river on our planet! When you don’t like to swimm in rivers, you can always go to the Adriatic Sea. The closest riviera is “Makarska Rivijera” and it’s the most beautiful part of the Croatian coastline (in my opinion). Hercegovina and Dalmatia are like two sisters. The nature and the people are similar, especially the rocky mountains and the stony landscape with many rivers and lakes. You are always welcome! ❤️❤️❤️🇧🇦🇭🇷
