I’ve got nearly 2k hours in this game but hate official server pvp cause I’m bad at it and everyone seems to mixpack. However, watching your videos has actually taught me a lot about fighting. I was able to fend off a mixpack of a meg, spino, kentro and cerato while almost taking down the spino (he fled to water when he got pepperoni’d), all as my own Dasp. Dasps are incredible if you know what to do and thanks to you, I survived that encounter 😂 Amazing content as always!

Finally, Krawll admitted that he had something close to his "favorite."😝 I really like the original juvi to adult, but these PvP-focused ones are cool too. Nice fights💪 BTW picno and cera have the armored tail ability, which means virtually no damage. In my opinion, a good picno player can take down anything, with due time. I can't wait to see you play as a picno, once he's grown up and won the poll.

This video was really, really good. I tend to agree about the dasp, (at least when it comes to carnivores). i love the mobility, the trot speed, i love the timed heavy bite ( i know you'll say you missed a lot, but i think personally you have really great timing with it and landed the bite whenever you needed it the most). I have to say, that sarco player with the asphyxiating bite really surprised me. That was the first time i saw it being used strategically and i love the way it enhanced the charge bite drastically, because once he knew you couldnt run he basically had control of the fight. I haven't used either abiltiy on sarco but now i'm thinking i want to try that combo out. And, i really liked your usage of replay mode in this video. they were all well placed. its neat how you used a slow motion in some instances to highlight critical moments in the battle

That Sarco really took me by surprise with that build as well. I had never fought anyone using the Stamina drain bite and by the time i realized what was going on i was already out of stam lol. That combined with the fact that i had missed all my heavy bites, i had to get creative for an escape 😁

That iggy fight is why I never chase things down with under quater stam. I always save a decent chunk and play the slow game after that cause oof getting caught without stam is the worst!

PoT really needs to take a note from how DayZ handle server hoppers. In DayZ, if someone server hops to get more loot, the game will spawn them in a brand new location each time. PoT really needs to consider adding this in someway, on official at least, where each time you log onto a dino, unless you logged in a HC, you'll get a new spawn. That for sure will prevent people logging and jumping on other dino's just to feel some sort or ego boost from finally killing something they were already struggling to kill.

You can definitely tell that Pycno has some experience. It was just being to impatient. Pycno requires a lot of patience and timing to kill a dasp due to its better health and stam regeneration. Pycno I think you will enjoy so fast and high damage just no defense or health lol

Yes the Pycno had experience for sure. The fight was very close and interesting, despite the long periods with nothing happening. This is what happens when both players sort of know what they're doing , we both don't make it easy for the other player. 🙂

This was one of your best videos yet, in my opinion - especially from editing perspective! Action packed, but edited beautifully, which gave the fights a sense of story (showing where your challengers went or how they closed in etc). But having said that, I have to add, I still find your juvi to adult videos the most comfortable, enjoyable, relax..able and exciting entertainment KZbin has to offer. Mainly because we see the growth and evolution of the dino, and also because it has your thoughts and ramblings while you do quests or adventure on. So in short.. keep doing what you're doing, mate, you seem to only get better at it and your (healthy) passion for this shows! I have no questions for the breakdown, but I loved how you smashed the team in the beginning of the video, all the fair 1v1 fights (even with someone attacking you after the win) and yes, I agree, you should've joined forces with that pycno and taken the horned menace down together! Thank you so much ! I have to confess after my last Juvi to Adult, there were two things that really weighed me down and both of those things sorta created a mental block to where i had no idea how to edit the second episode. -I knew i couldn't go back to the way i did Season 1 because with the replay tool, everyone is using it and if i don't use it, i'm gonna fall behind everyone else. -I knew that i couldn't edit it exactly the same as Season 2 Episode 1 because, even though many people loved it as is, others gave some very legit feedback about it being a bit difficult to follow during fights because i made too many cuts and showed too many different angles. -This kind of made me happy because that form of editing was extremely taxing on me but then i had no idea how much of the replay tool i should use to be able to still make a good video. This whole thing caused a huge mental block so i decided to put it aside until i could find the inspiration i needed to get passed the blockage. That is why i started the War Room series and publishing a bunch of shorts. A new series gave me the chance to try out different editing styles and different ways to use the replay tool. While editing this Dasp video it all clicked and i also started using features and tools within Adobe Premiere Pro which i was not using before and those things improve the workflow considerably. Now i feel ready to work on the next Juvi to Adult and i feel good about the future of the series 🙂

A really great video krawll! Your choice of music with the fights goes so well. Your video footage was perfect. Really enjoyed the way you edited and showed live recordings as well as game play very seamlessly. The Allo fight amused me as it looked like mine and Jaktogs Allos, but we only made them this week so it definitely wasn’t us haha. The trees can be so aggravating sometimes on Panjura if you’re any decently sized dinosaur. Definitely a well worth the wait video and I’m looking forward to you trying out Pycno (if it wins the vote!)

Waiting on that pycno video lol Also just FYI if you don’t know, some creatures have different turn speeds depending on how youre turning, whether it be pressing a button while precise turning or just turning in place. Dasp for instance turns faster when it strafes (wasd + precision) while rex turns much faster when just precision is being pressed. I recommend using alt as your precision key, helps me out a bit more since my thumb reaches it instead of having to use my middle finger which I use for s and also x when I had it for precision, which is the default keybind. Hope this helps a little lol!

@@KrawllUnchained sarco is the same from my experience, I always test my creatures turn speed even when I first create it and time in my head how long it takes each movement type to do a circle and then face the same direction, for sarco from my experience all of the precision turn strafes are good but s depending on the situation is most useful as you can move your butt away and your head close. I also play sarco quite a bit recently in deathmatch and havent really tried axshisiating (butchered word) bite yet, but that looks fun to use against land creatures like dasp 🤣

Dont waste your time biting kentros unless they are low. If you just tail attack on dasp youll actually kill them quickly. Let them come to you and they will eventually kill themselves

Yo, try more brake checks with the heavy bite, let them follow you then presice walk backwards while turning & anything bigger than a laten is an easy hit

Thanks ! The juvi to adult had been put aside temporarily because i fell into a big mental block. I will write a community post where i explain why this happened but the mental block is gone now and i will resume working on it now. This Dasp video helped me figure some things out on how to proceed with the Juvi to Adult videos. I see more clearly what i need to do now and i feel very good about the future of the series 🙂 This temporary break was necessary and i'm glad i took it 🙂

I agree its super weird how people switch dinos because they lost or were losing a fight and had to bail out, yea its official and I love the no rules anything goes but the one minute timer to log out seems like its abused way too much and it probably happens to a lot of people in which case hurts official for all players vets and newbies. I think they the logout should turn into like 5 or more minutes instead, just my opinion. :}

I'm not as good as you as a PvP'er but i'm getting there slowly haha ! By the way i have to confess something to you. I don't know if you noticed that i only started doing the "spin heavy bite" thing later in the video. The one where i'm running in one direction and then start a heavy bite while turning around to bite someone behind me. I learned that from you. The video compilation where you played Dasp and i think you fought a Kentro as well. You used that spin move with the bone break but as soon as i saw that, it occurred to me that i could do the same move with the heavy bite so i started practicing it and it leveled up my game so much. I will give you credit for that when i do the Breakdown and i'll give you a shoutout 🙂

I’m sorry, but even tho this PvP is great but those Dino’s were suspicious off the bat when mix packers come around. I would’ve already fled b4 they got the chance. Bc there’s no point if they’re gonna keep running like cowards and changing to a different Dino. Yeah that glitch is annoying and ti doesn't only happen with sprint for me, it also happens with precise movement. Whenever you saw me try to bite someone behind me and my dino didn't turn around while i was biting, it's because the game didn't register when i pressed precise movement to turn. It happened like twice against the Achillo's in GLC and i think once against a Kentro and also it happened when i tried to sprint away from the Sucho as well. I pressed sprint but it didn't register.

I've always been a PvP player but the thing that i am not is a KOS player. I always loved the pvp aspect of the game but i don't attack unless i'm hungry or defending myself or defending someone else. Yes Panjura might have made me a little more aggressive since everyone attacks on sight in Panjura, or almost, but i'm still not and probably never will be a KOS player.

Most times i log on Official servers, there are 80 players or more but sometimes when i join a server which has just been reset, i can hop in and there is only 25 players or so . But after 20 minutes the server is almost full again. The only times the amount of players on a server is low is when the server is fresh.
