“Thug Mentality 1999” is the debut solo studio album Krayzie Bone, released on April 6, 1999, through Ruthless Records, Relativity Records, and Mo Thugs Records. 
The album is a double-disc set which, featuring 38 tracks and a wide array of guest appearances, including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Mariah Carey, the Marley Brothers, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Cuban Link, Gangsta Boo, E-40, 8Ball & MJG, Kurupt, Treach, and Snoop Dogg. 
Commercially, the album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, selling 140,000 copies in its first week, and was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on May 10, 1999, signifying over 1,000,000 copies sold in the United States. 
The lead single, “Thug Mentality,” was released on March 20, 1999, and peaked at number 47 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. 
In creating the album, Krayzie Bone wrote and recorded over 150 songs, selecting 38 for the final release.

The reason it's not on streaming platforms.... Relativity Records no longer exists. So, therefore, who owns the music rights? That's the issue. KB doesn't own the rights :( :( Very unfortunately, there's a good chance this may never be on a streaming platform because nobody owns the rights. Hopefully there's law & regulation changes in the music industry, that will allow it to steam & give KB the rights.

This album would be a masterpiece if it was only 20 tracks long!!!! A lot of the tracks especially a lot of the featured artist ones don't fit the vibe of the title of this album!!!! Nobody wants to hear Mariah on a album with Thug in the title 😂😂😂 not that the other songs are all bad cuz they ain't but they definitely belong on those artists solo albums rather than Krayzies album !!!!! Just like AOW , this albums first disc is superior to the second but the second also has some real bangers on it just like AOW does 💯 Definitely a classic but not a masterpiece because of all the watered down tracks they added to make more money!!!!! Half this album could have easily been on a compilation album They did the same exact shit with Krays second album , the record exects put all the watered down Thugline tracks on it instead of just keeping it all KB !!!! Thug On Da Line would also be a masterpiece if they didn't remove all the best tracks & replace them with posse cuts Every single Bone album wether its a group album or a solo album , the record company always removes like 2-5 amazing unreleased tracks & replaces it wit some bullshit just so they can try to get a different type of audience 🙄 The only features this album needed was 8ball & MJG , Big Pun , Steven Marley , Treach & the Dogg Pound track with Kurupt & Snoop !!!! The others didn't need to be on this classic album in my opinion 💯 That Mariah song should have been on her album cuz it makes this album seem soft especially after all that hardcore thug shit that's on here😂😂😂😂 Overall Krayzie only has like two good mainstream albums , Bizzy has like 10 & this is coming from a Gemini ♊ that relates to Krayzie more than the others💯 but i guess its all subjective 🥱
