Give BFIAFL another chance, they definitely reinvented themselves as a band with the new record cause I personally think they went for a more dramatic, theatrical, and old kind of influenced sound.

It's not "ultra clear" as it's sometimes called when it comes to vinyl records, but rather "Milky clear", unfortunately. An ultra clear pressing would fit that album so well.
