And yet, back when Christian first jumped ship they were white hot and finally getting people to actually know that they existed... and they *murdered* everything with a chemical Russo attack that drove away an audience that had already been driven away! They were in the 'right place at the right time' moment. And they squandered and botched everything... wow. TNA screwed TNA far more than WWE ever could have.

I do love them talking about three ways where the it's 2 on 1 advantage babyfaces like it's a bad thing, despite Wrestlemania 20's main event being 2 on 1 advantage babyfaces in storyline being one of the best main events in the show's history.

This was the last Impact I ever saw because I recall myself thinking "This is what they give to me, so this must be what they think of me...and fI found it very offensive"... Later in time Dixie explained just that... (but I was long gone)
@fuzzydunlop79286 жыл бұрын
What a fucking coincidence. In the WWE Samoa Joe's gimmick is "fat-fuck who can't beat anyone" - guess we know where they've been getting their booking ideas. Late-2000's TNA. That's a bold move, Cotton. Also - was it common misconception back then that a kick to the cooch didn't hurt? It does hurt, there are a lot of nerve endings down there. Not as much as for dudes, but it's not like that episode with Peggy on kick of the hill. You kick a chick in the vagina and she is going down like a ton of bricks.

To Vinny: The NFL has had 278 ties in the past 83 years; which is 3.3 ties a year, and only 20 ties in the past 30 years. That's much less than one tie a week; more like once every five and a half weeks.

LOL, they actually said Hogan’s career began in 1984??? Please! I’ll bet they thought their audience was ignorant and that none of them were aware of Hogan’s time in the AWA in the early 80s. They were clearly going by old school WWF standards of never acknowledging their wrestlers’ time in other companies. And they actually thought no one would catch that and know it was wrong? Pathetic, and so typical of TNA at the time, hahahaha!
@markmallone74846 жыл бұрын
I never expected anything of TNA so didn't get disappointed even when the hit the hight of stupidly. Joker sting didn't bother me much, thought he at least played the part ok. I only had access to WWF in my country as a child however so maybe thats why it didnt bother me. If it were Undertaker in impact zone with stupid stories I'd be super sad as he arrived when i started watching wrestling so guess thats kind of what old school wcw fans feel about sting.

Nothing says ratings and BUYS like authority vs. authority storylines. Every instance of "the network" in wrestling sucked: Cyrus in ECW, Palmer Cannon on Smackdown, The Miz as the network's host and cRaZy Sting as the network's executive in TNA.

It's always pathetic to hear an amateur criticize a pro by relating their amateur experience to those of the pros. Nobody ever saw you wrestle, Bryan, so forgive me if I don't believe you. And Dave, how can you be critical of RVD s kicks when you hang on the nuts of strong style and stiff wrestling whenever you're handing out star ratings?

How about, for one thing, the fact that it wasn’t Dave. Maybe pay attention to the title bud?

Except strong and stiff style you're supposed to hit people in American style you're traditionally not supposed to really hit one another unless you and your opponent both want to work stiff. Plus RVD is the same guy that once 5 Star Frog Splashed Triple H and landed on his neck.
