if you ask me, the deathclaws from fnv are terrifying because they move at f*cking Mach 5. Cazadors are also high up there, but behind deathclaws. Anytime I see one of those guys sprinting at me, i panic and enter tgm into console commands.

Deathclaws are neat because they're just a little too odd to be truly just the work of mutation. They're a demon, masquerading as a lizard, but behaving more like a.. Monsterverse kaiju, I suppose. Strangely intelligent, and built too strong and too tough to be justified by mortal flesh.

New Vegas did their big one with the ghost people. The few times or places where Fallout ventured into horror territory was the Glow, Necropolis, Old Olney, Point Lookout, Lonesome Road and Dead Money, but nothing compares to Dead Money. The Sierra Madre was beyond creepy, the soundtrack, the enemies, the lore…especially getting into the casino proper and finding out the fates of the hotel guest and Keys, WATTBA!

For me, the swampfolk are easily the scariest enemy in the Fallout games! I still remember my first time seeing them. I struggled to defeat the 4 I was up against because I just kept running from them. Didn't even wanna get close. To this day, when I play Point Lookout, I always try to just steer clear of them

I can definitely see that. Brawlers/Bruisers are the creepiest to me, the way they hobble due to their inbred body makes for a chilling silhouette to witness running at you. Lookout was a spooky DLC.

I love the Robobrains a ton! There's a sort of techno-horror thing going on with them being mostly "undesirables" who had their brain cut out of them and put into a robot to serve people against their will. They remind me of the servitors from 40K. I can only imagine how nuts it would have been if they had been mass produced and sold like Mr. Gutsy models. They're little more than lobotomite slaves.

One thing I hate about Swampfolks, they're very tanky. Even the weakest ones can take a serious beating, crippling their legs is near useless and some of them can hit quite hard. Still, I prefer them over reavers

Gary clones should be number 1 in terms of scare factor. I'm still terrified to go into Vault 108 every time I replay Fallout 3. 🤣 And honestly, the East Coast Gulpers aren't as creepy as the tv show's West Coast version. I think they're still very cute with the way they run around the map and that they headbutt the player when they attack. And they're one of my favorite Fallout enemies to fight. They offer a well-balanced challenge. 🦎

that saw used on Gary reminds me of the Cybus Cybermen conversion chambers when cutting up new conversion able humans into the new cybermen, i really haven't found any of them terrifying but more i feel sorry for what happened to them and for the tunnelers i seen things that make them look like lil babies something that would use them for snacks the first time i ran from two Deathclaw Alphas and a female with two regular deathclaws chasing after a group of gunners i ran n jumped up a ledge and saw last year the first time the strongest mother jumper i ever seen til i saw the scorch beast the true Blue Devil it slaughtered everything yes many in numbers but all gone in a blink of a bloody eye it kept trying to get me every gunner and creature and good that howl even being very far away made me run off into the woods when i stopped i made the big mistake i admit i did running into an event that involved two assaultron's a level 300 player one shotted by the crazed black lazer head i nicknamed itim going this place is a extreme mad house cut to this year a good friend of mine with a super modded high level plazma flamer encountered the true blue Devil it took her an hour to take the blooming thing down and in power armor if the blue devil makes it to the mojave the inhabitants and tunnelers don't have a freakking chance or worst the alpha scorchbeast queen i participated in one of those talk about freakking numbers more scorched than carter had pills i guess it is something of a pick your poison and get ready to rumble, but with the right weapons and items perks n such you will rise aabove them and vaporize them into oblivion.
