Always loved these wheels and really appreciate the deep dive into their history! They look stellar on both the FK8 and FL5.

This is another great educational wheel video from our homie PL. Thanks for the history lessons, appreciate it.

Great content! Thanks 🍻 As you mentioned, Spoon recently showed a new 19” SW388 on its FL5 development car. Looking forward to getting official wheel specifications for the 19” wheel; width, offset, weight and price.

Thanks for the info about ALL these wheels. A set of Desmonds are one of the only wheels I'd swap for the CCW Classics on my FD3S. Speaking of CCW, they might be a good subject for a future video.

Great info on this iconic series of wheel. They were always a bit expensive. I shouldn’t complain for what I have paid for some of my sets from Work and others lol.

I just wish these wheels had a higher offset like a +48 or +50 to get a meaty tiers and maintain a flush look

Wow that was a great history and information of the SW388. I am picking up a set of TE37 Sonic in 16x7 +48. How does the SW388 compare to the TE37 Sonic? This will go on my 2013 Honda Fit.
@RealWheelDeal4 ай бұрын
The SW388 probably a little bit lighter, but overall they are quite different looks. Both fully die forged, so you're good either way!

nope weight difference, sw is more ligther than regas

Hey Peter, for the EG hatch (15x8 +35 4x100) is the weight difference between SW388 and TE37SL worth the 1.5k price difference?
@RealWheelDeal10 ай бұрын
Hard to measure if a "weight difference" is worth it. You'd have to drill in pretty hard because even if you save weight on the wheel, with the rotating mass some people get heavier rotors, heavier lugnuts or even a heavier make of tire. Those already would negate some weight savings if you're trying to discuss weight savings vs $
