Here's my biggest problem with Jailbreak: the gameplay gets extremely repetitive really fast. I've played both as a cop and as a criminal, it gets old after a while. But with MM2, every round offers something new, different, and engaging, as you keep hoping to get the murderer or sheriff role. MM2 also has very constant updates and keeps to the seasons

@@dlash_official0523 just found it, in the tweet they state "we feel ready to turn the page and put an end to the monthly update cycle. the game has so much content these days. we want to avoid bloating jailbreak with niche features that only benefit a handful of people." they're likely implying that they're not planning on making any new big updates because they rather work on new games they're planning on since jailbreak is starting to die down. additionally, a MAYBE yearly update schedule that isn't actually finalized can have a massive margin of error, and result in an extensive point with no major changes made to the game, which is sort of the equivalent of murder mystery 2, but it still updates occasionally (not yearly) and adds a new gamemode or new maps
