I feel like this only counts for Yag tbh. Raum is one of the best off tanks in the game, and a good Raum can play against counters to some degree of effectiveness. Yago's problem is that she's too easy to hit, can't strafe at all, and has no DR in travel form, so she just gets deleted the moment she tries to get out of a fight. Raum isn't as obvious and is more difficult to pin down, so he's not as much of an ult farm as Yag is either. It's early days, but I think she will probably need some kind of buff in future. Maybe some DR in travel form, or reduced vulnerability to %based HP attacks.

@@xtechtips152 He's definitely a bigger ult feeder than most other tanks, but he's nothing compared to Yag. If the Raum is good, he won't blindly throw himself into everyone's sightline and feed ult. Problem with Yag is that's exactly what she's designed to do.

Tbh I think she could do both on/off tank with the right support. We've all seen the Solar Blessing/Ripened Gourd combos. Definitely one of the most unique tanks, love playing her.

I also thought about that. Then I played until like level 14 as point tank and learnt she is not one. The healing is not enough when you have so many hard counters. And there are SOOO many that you can be sure there will be at least one hard counter in each match. There is simply no way to outheal the damage, and no way to disengage without accelerate. I love playing her but gotta be honest, she is very underwhelming. Instead of being the beast, semi-boss battle she was advertised as, she is basically a nuisance that pokes the enemy and waits until someone is low on health, grabs the kill, and runs away.

Sadly point tanks are not vital in this game, i see teams win with only a Khan or any tank, she can go point tank as any offtank but most of the times its pretty hard to stay on point

As Khan main, I've learned that Khan is pretty good at harassing and sort of controlling what an enemy Yag is allowed to do. You can use commanders grab to force her out of harden. You stop her movement with the grab. You can stop her from attacking with the grab. And even though Khan's ult isn't going to directly do anything to outright kill her, it does 600 damage instantly and a pretty significant stun, plus a 30% refund. But the both of them togther? Spicy. Helps deal with enemy yags very well, and deal with those more pesky, nimble characters. Plus, who doesn't like an angry man grabbing people and feeding it to the Alaskan Bull Worm?

as khan you can always throw yag off the map if the map allows it, that is if you just need to take her down asap

But in both her planted and mobile form, it will simply stun the Yag in her place for about 5 seconds, do around 600 damage or more (planted is 600, mobile form is a bit more), and refunds Khan 30% of his ult. But in neither form can you actually pick Yag up, unless this is in one of the private test servers. In which case, I wouldn't know, because I don't fiddle with it. But the stun, damage, and ult refund make the ult worth using on Yag if it's the only champion giving your team any trouble or you want to guarantee an elimination.

And what i've learned as a yagorath main: buy the card that breaks Shields (i don't know the name, i'm not a native speaker) The card os extremelly helpfull for yago to counter khan and Fernando, the acid literally corrodes the shield with that card, só u van atack him as much as you please

veteran changes yagos out of cover recover time from like 15 seconds to like 8 seconds. which means ur in the fight more often doing damage more often. then plus the healer doesnt have to put resources into u

So 1 tip i learned when playing yago on point: if you have your ult you can use it to pull their healer (or someone whos carrying) evsn if you "die" in ur ult your team can still burst them down. Ofc this is kinda sutuational to having bad flanks or no flanks in general. Kind of a situational one but it works

1. dont use primal vision when hiding, enemy can locate you too. 2. when youre out of abilites in planted form its time to move 3. stand behind the corner when ulting where only your target can hit you ..theres so much to say actually Edit: if theres an Imani at the opponents team, you can mostly easily kill her when she ults

KTH is good when you're using Sight Begets Strength. You shield team mates and their eliminations give health. I rarely buy it but it's alright.

@@andreww4012 It’s always good to know the value of off builds and off buys, and have experience with them. So that you can tell when it may benefit you or your team more based on team comps and map. Always better to have more weapons in your arsenal and be more adaptive. So what you say has definite value there. Don’t sleep on it. I play a lot of over the moon Evie and think, while she needs a buff, possibly for that and snow globe, it is amazingly powerful against some team comps and some maps. As a matter of fact against any if I am smart and get a little help from my team at all. Better to adjust and be able to change and try different things to find more potential. Then don’t ignore them when they do work very well. Pay attention to the circumstances. Counters.

Im a Yagorath Main and i hv her on Level 59 already i Love her so much :D For me she isnt really a Point Tank because she didnt have any good defense Option and is way to easy target to be a real Point Tank. U only can Play her as a Point Tank If u have a good Support Like a Furia or Io on Ur Team and then u are still a big Ult Charge for the enemy Team. But she is great as a Off Tank who can annoying the enemy Team :) i kinda Play her Like Wrecking Ball / Hammond in Overwatch ( who is also my Main ) and it works great ^^

sight is the one me using too. and i have one loadout against counters and one for playing agressive. the more counters there are, the more mobile you must be, leaving you as a flank in matches with lex, willo and furia present......

Years later and yago is nerfed hard and yet still pretty great at harassing, i use acceleration and acid pools on point and run, cuz most of the time its a tyra chasing me. I try to give my team an advantage of 500 hp less targets that are slowed and grouped, while i heal and chase a flank or sniper, in my head, my job is to either take the point, charge in, anti flank, anti snpier, anti invis, harass tanks, avoid damage dealers such as fucking tyra, and use corrosive talent for more damage and be a real issue for flanks and tanks, or use sights begets strength and keep my team alive as for being a meat shielf for whoever is about to die. (As for my team to harass me for not being "A DAMN POINT TANK", AS I SAY IM NOT A POINT TANK, IM A GODDAM OFFENSE TANK THAT IS SUPPOSE TO STAY OFF POINT UNLESS EVERYONE IS THERE TO ASSIST ME, RANGE WISE AND FUCKING HEALING WISE AS I NOW HAVE LESSER HP FROM BEFORE AND RELY ON SOMEONE TO MAKE SURE I AIN'T THE MAIN TARGET SO I CAN DO MY JOB AND DEAL WITH THE FLANKS. Tho since, I've been running; life rip, either haven, resilience, wreaker, bulldozer, if there are no shields or bulldoze things, i'll do ; haven, (always) liferip, guardian if i haven sights beget talent, if not then cronos, veteran, which now gives more hp then rather out of combat healing. Resilience over cronos if they got many stuns. 1 stun then im fine. 3-4 then hell no.
