Now thats real sound design!!! None of that generic Square wave house bass stuff! 🙌🙌🙌

Thanks! Yeah I much prefer designing sounds that are unique rather than the boring generic stuff.

Awesome work! Really like the alien voices. The voice at 9:40, that's just S&H ? Any insights on how this was made? Almost sounds like sample playback! Wondering if this is possible on Peak/Summit...

Thankyou! Quite a lot going on. I used every mod slot. So 2 of the LFOs were S&H, 2 were Stepped and the last one was a sine. I used the S&H on the arp division, 1/2, which had a ratchet of 32 and chance of 70 & phrase 12. I had the 2 stepped LFOS control the pitch of OSC 1 & 2. I had inf ENV loops on 4 & 5 which were set to the wavescan of OSC 1 & 2, which were pulses, horizons, synclaves & spect on OSC 1. OSC 2 was horizons, chrimey & scorpios. I had the step LFOS control the decay & attack of the Amp ENV. The LFOS would also control the dry/wet of the mutants, which were FM with a low ratio, low depth and high sine feedback. After that I was mostly setting the LFOS to mess about with filters, panning and the FX of the delay & reverb. What really gives it the sound was the S&H on the cutoff of the post FX of the LoFi, which had a low sample rate and max dry/wet. Hope that helps.

@@crybo Amazing! I don't own a Hydrasynth but it certainly seems very powerful for modulation. Will have to try something like this on Peak... hopefully it's possible!

Just to be clear, are the Hydrasynth sounds featured in this video (Krell, Drones & Alien Voices…) available now or or is this a sound pack that hasn’t been released yet? Very interesting patches; nice work. These are the sounds that Hydrasynth excels at (in my view).
@crybo6 ай бұрын
Thanks, they are already available on a sound pack. I did another video on the sounds that are available on it, including these.

I don't understand. You show sounds for Hydra, and then provide a link where there are sounds for other synths than Hydra.
@crybo Жыл бұрын
The links are in all my videos but usually in the description. Thought I would stick it in the video as people may not read the description. Currently working on Hydrasynth sounds.
