That really remains to be seen this year, but they objectively beat a playoff caliber roster in the browns, at home, which the browns were amazing at. Both would make sense. Either the cowboys big .500+ struggle was due to a lack of a line backing core meaning well rounded teams could force them to account for multiple angles of attack, in which you need linebackers to play both possibilities. The cowboys linebacking core looks severely upgraded, so it’s highly likely that problem has faded this year. The issue also consists on you need to attack good teams from multiple angles, which I’m not sure Dallas has the capability of doing this year. It’s also possible the browns were injured and not quite the team they were last year, especially with the major QB downgrade from Flacco to Watson. They were missing their tackles & Nick Chubb, albeit they didn’t have Chubb almost all of last year and still made the post season. Personally I’m more on side Dallas will do better, I mean they’re .500+ issues were overstated they beat several .500+ teams last year, but there was an issue compared to the average. Like most things we’ll have to wait.
