When you throw the axe, the game has it coded as a bandit pistol. So pistol relics also buff the axe when thrown

@@eeyorehaferbock7870you can skip it. You just need to put 25 skill poins in the melee tree to unlock it. If want play melee without this skill use a rapier which gives 200 % dmg. You can get it from the Pirates dlc as a quest reward.

@@Se7enRemain Possibly, though I've been running more of a Tank build with the Rough Rider along with skills like Empty the Rage, Feed the Meat, and Silence the Voices, so while I believe the one-shot could be possible with a Roid shield, running Roid + StV has the potential to seriously screw you over during the fight with just how much damage you take when you hit yourself.

Hey, to be fair 12% is actually not too low, and with how RNG works it can technically happen more than it did in this video. If we're talking Dreams odds, then it could technically happen more than like 7 times, for example. It just isn't very likely to happen more than that, but still possible.

It really isn't. RNG is completely random, so it is technically possible to keep rolling in the range of the number set more times than what seems would be possible. Really, technically, it is possible you could hit yourself more than in this video. It's just the odds of it happening again and again keep growing exponentially, making it far less likely each time, but still _possible._ It's likely possible to hit yourself 10 times or more, for example, but the chance is probably in the millions to billions, and with more hits quadrillions+. Like getting a perfect Hide of Terra, technically possible, but not going to happen (well who knows, maybe RNGeezus will bring a miracle one day and someone will actually somehow get one legit - likely not).

The character he’s playing has a power where he goes into like a rampage mode and uses a buzz axe (the character is a psycho like the enemies u kill in one and two) and one of his skills makes it so your melee does more damage but it adds a small chance to smack yourself in the head (12%) instead when you go to swing it. So all those times you saw him smack himself there were him trying to melee the switch and getting really unlucky and smacking himself that many times in a row lol
