The Emperor literally just spoke through one of his faithful and gave Krieg a stamp of approval. That is the biggest thing since the Imperium enthroned the Emperor at the end of the Heresy! Also, funny story... Fan confirmed there are Three Whylers in the Star Wars Universe.

We have a Fellowship forming between the cast of the Imperium with these episodes. They shall be known as the Fellowship of the Xek-Tek Sector. Tahr Wyler is a madman though and is trying to advance his own agenda and a little Cabal loyal to him while the Warmaster is trying to consolidate power. He's kinda like Saruman in that regard. Ishtara Ordane is like Gandalf of the Imperium side.

Still watching through this video but just in case you still haven't figured out how Shadrick survived (and before i forget to say it) Commisars wear Carapace armor, just like Lazarus was when Shadrick shot him with his bolt pistol. That layer of Ceramite saved him. Also the reason those knives slice through rockcrete (aka just concrete with a new name) is because Monomolecular Blades are standard issue.

This probably isn't your type of thing but I'd highly recommend the channel Your Dinosaurs Are Wrong, they basically compare old plastic Dinosaur (And other prehistoric creatures) toys to accurate reconstructions of the real animals and talk about what they were actually like, the recent not reuploaded videos go into a lot more depth and also talk about the history of the discovery of thee animals, at least that is my impression from rediscovering the channel and watching the beginning of their recent video on Quetzalcoatlas which seems really good so far, and by reading some comments and my memories from when I used to watch the channel more often. As I said I presume this isn't really your sort of thing (Though I could be wrong) and thee recent videos are about an hour long each but I thought that I might as well recommend it anyway. Also if you have any interest in palaeontology at all then I'd highly recomend a 2 hour long video essay by the channel Oliver Lugg called the The Mass Extinction Debates, it talks about the various debates around the mass extinction around the end of the Mesozoic era and is much more entertaining than that might sound to some people.

You should put on a layer of varnish on top of contrast paint to stop it from reactivating. Satin looks good if you have both shining and dull areas on the model. Otherwise use mat varnish. You can also put one layer on top of the other to change how the final product reflects light.

In the future I'll try that with layers I don't want to change. Although I have used the reactivation to blend 2 different paints together pretty easily. 🤔

With how fast the planetary surface campaign is occuring this is a kind of battle the Imperium is not used to because it's moving so quickly. In like 15-24 hours things have escalated much quicker then what the Imperial Guard would usually have to contend with in Warhammer 40k where campaigns and theaters both on a planet and solar system would last for days or years in a static war of attrition due how painfully slow and rigid ftl space travel in Warhammer 40k is most of the time. So after this the Imperium is really gonna have to adapt, innovate, and have stable doctrine after a detailed reviewing report if they want to stay ahead of the Republic. The Xek-Tek forces are going to need alot of better logistics, strageies, tactically insights, Intelligence, economically, and diplomacy on their side if they are going to survive for a long period of time in Star Wars. Because the Star Wars galaxy's native population in the Expanded Universe massively outnumbers them in demographic. 2 million systems, one hundred quadrillion residences.
