Thank you for your review. My plan was to try and fit a tool roll into the pack and some nick naks.

Hi. To be honest, a tool roll might be a bit of a squeeze, plus the weight of carrying it around. Then again, it depends on what tools you plan to carry? , if you are only going to carry a leatherman and some tire irons, then the R3 will be perfect.

Love the idea of one but my only worry with this would be the risk of the clip undoing mid ride and all my valuables disappearing with it. How robust is that clip

Trust me, it’s not going to come unclipped. I have used the R3 for 1,000s of miles in all types of riding, and the clip has never been an issue.

does it fit in your back if you wear it under any kriega backpacks? Nice video

I don't own a Kriega backpack, but it fits no problem under the Kriega Hydro 3 backpack I own. I have seen images online of people wearing a Kriega backpack and waist pack together. See below. overlandmag.com/features/kriega-r15-backpack-r3-waist-pack/

@@thegenxrider thanks for your time. Another question is, is it fast turning it around and getting things from inside in your opinion?

@@apz5817 The inner pocket is waterproof and a rolltop, so it's not super quick to open it all up. Being waterproof comes with some compromises. I guess it all depends on how quick you think you need it to open???

Does the waterproofing segment of the fanny pack have enough space to carry a set of gloves? I plan to put a brake lock as well and a set of house and bike keys
@thegenxrider2 жыл бұрын
No problem, gloves will fit easily, along with the keys etc.

I think 100 dollars for this is like paying 5 dollars for a coffe. With that prize at least it could be with a security zip like militar clip or aeronautic clip...

Starbucks sells millions of cups of coffee every day, so I guess they must be doing something right. Like you, I don't buy Starbucks coffee as I think it's overpriced for what it is. LOL! That said... I did buy the Kreiga R3, as it's a great bit of kit in my opinion, and does exactly what I want a waist pack to do. Why would you need a security clip? You have a rolltop clip that keeps everything safe and dry.
