Are there even people who's complaining why she's not speaking that much tagalog?? Heres what people, she's cebuana. She's more familiar with bisaya than tagalog
@ji58546 жыл бұрын
님캐럿 There are some people who commented that she seems to be ashamed of being Filipino because she does not speak Tagalog. Grr, triggered ang pagiging Bisaya ko! hahaha! As if Tagalog lang ang language sa Philippines when there are more than a hundred languages.

For the bashers saying that she isn’t really using tagalog as much as filipinos do, well, she’s in korea, and she’s a cebuano. Her main language is bisaya. Plus she moved to america when she’s 2 yrs. old Our sweet kreisha 😘😘

I disagree because I’m Filipino born and raised in San Francisco. Marami tayong mga Pilipino dito at influencia filipina está en todas partes... We even have our own TFC channel branch, chowking, Goldilocks, red ribbon, Multiple Jollibee locations and large Filipino community as well. Even if you aren’t Filipino, if you’re in the SF Bay Area you’re pretty much exposed to it all the time. But, it is majority Tagalog here unlike hawaii is majority Ilocano. Lastly.... if you’re the philippines there’s a difference between “dialect” vs “language”... Example... Chavacano, bisaya and Tagalog are not dialects. They are languages. Caviteño Chavacano vs Zamboangueño Chavacano are examples of a dialect from “Chavacano” which is a language!!
@sorainneliu11365 жыл бұрын
@@ralphw7454 cause she was not that exposed to Tagalog. She's more fluent in Cebuano/Bisaya because she was from Cebu and her parents speaks Cebuano a lot than Tagalog.
@ralphw74545 жыл бұрын
Sorainne Lyna i have nothing against her speaking either Tagalog or cebuano but saying that she grew up in San Francisco, California doesn’t make it an excuse that she’s not exposed to filipinos. I have plenty of friends that speak cebuano that grew up in San Francisco too. For you filipinos in the Philippines to be ignorant that if you’re Filipino growing up outside of the Philippines and cannot speak any regional Filipino language is false. I had my cousins from Manila visit here for the first time and they were shocked, they didn’t know that so many Filipinos and Filipino communities existed, in such a huge mass. I guess the idea back in the Philippines is ignorance among other countries and the existing of diversity... it’s what i keep sensing every time i travel between Cebu, Iloilo and Manila
@newtype50054 жыл бұрын
@@ralphw7454 oh get off your high horse. No one's saying she's not exposed to Filipinos, all they're saying is she's more fluent in Bisaya and to top it off, her parents are Fil-Chi. And can you really blame some Filipinos for thinking some Fil-Ams don't speak any regional language? Most of you, especially the half breeds don't really speak it anymore because most of the 1st gen don't even bother teaching it.
@ralphw74544 жыл бұрын
Awakened Newtype I’m from the same city she is from which is San Francisco. For me and raised. We’re basically from same environment and I’ve also seen her perform at local Filipino festivals in the bay growing up. Real Eri That’s right. Okay imagine if she a bisayan moved to a English speaking country, isn’t exposed to to Tagalog very often. How would I be? I’m Tagalog, because I’m originally from cavite. But moved to Canada when I was 4. I’m about the same level of Tagalog as her. So let’s just say she’s above average for a person who grew up in North America.
