If you've ever set foot in Lordran, Yharnam, or any other Soulsborne world, you owe it to yourself to set foot in Boletaria, as the Soulsborne games literally wouldn't even EXIST if not for Demon's Souls paving the way. I'm not even someone who usually plays games as hard as the Soulsborne series can be, but even I adored the original Demon's Souls. Were there a few BS areas in the original? Sure, but they don't really detract from DS as a whole, and they're usually little more than a "speed bump". And the bosses usually make up for it.

Yeah, from all I've seen, this isn't just them trying to "take our money", I see a very clear passion to do justice to the original while also improving upon the weak points of the original. You don't get something that looks this good without a passion to do justice to the original you are building off of.

That gameplay vid was orgasmic my god . This is coming from someone that's never played any soulsborne games . I can't believe the shot Flamelurker had from the cinematic Gameplay trailer in June for his entrance 4:35 people also complaint saying it wasn't in the game or in engine the preview in the PS5 June event lol . It's amazing the way he looks . Hope you react to the interview that game Informer did . Lots of cool info for you there . The creative director at Bluepoint is amazing and everyone else there . Can't believe this beautiful remake is gonna be playable in less than 2 weeks. PlayStation 5 is gonna be a blast. Don't understand how they made this available on launch so soon everyone thought this was gonna come out like late 2021 or 2022 cause of them having no date for the June or September event . Sony proved us wrong that's for sure . The graphics look unbelievably good it almost looks unreal or fake . It looks THAT DAMN GOOD MAN . We're definitely in next gen already

Actually, used spell was Soul Ray, because you can see how it pierces first enemy and kills two for one cast. And sword in Flamelurker bossfight was Flamberge. If you look close enough, you can see serrated blade. Awesome reaction, btw. It shows that you really love this game ;)

There is one thing, and one thing only I care about with the remake. The Maiden needs the same Voice Actor. When they brought back that voice actor to do the Doll in BloodBorne it was so hype and nostalgic for a familiar sound. Really hoping they have brought her back to re-new her roll as the Maiden.

I think the spell he casts in the tunnel against the miners is Soul Ray, not Soul Arrow. Soul Ray pierces enemies, I don't think Soul Arrow did.

I played the original through to completion (including every optional boss), and let me say, it's absolutely going to be worth it. Demon's Souls wasn't even the kind of game I usually gravitated towards, and yet, I adored the game, even with the few faults it had. And without Demon's Souls we wouldn't have the Dark Souls trilogy, Bloodborne, or Sekiro, as Demon's Souls paved the way for all of them. Demon's Souls is still home to one of my all-time favorite bosses to face one-on-one, even though that particular boss *is completely optional* and you are under no obligation to even fight or defeat that boss, but I always do it because the boss fight is just so damn fun.

The only FromSoft game I've played is Sekiro. And i loved it because of the beautiful feudal Japan world, amazing enemies and fast paced combat. I've never been instersted in Dark souls or Bloodbourne. Should i get this game? It looks good. And is the whole game this dark, or is there brighter/ more beautiful areas?
