Bruce is based off American Kickboxing which traditionally used to take from Freestyle Karate before Muay Thai became the more popular choice among American Kickboxers. Bryan tends to stick more to the American Freestyle karate more and less Muay Thai when compared to Bruce. Realistically Bryan likely did MCMAP or CQC too if he was a former cop or soldier. Josie Rizal is said to do "unarmed Eskrima style kickboxing" however in real life. The Phillipines have their own kickboxing style called Sikaran (why Tekken decided to not say that was the name of her style I dont know, but it is very similar to other South East Asian style including Muay Thai)

@Althane Frostbane Yeah maybe or maybe it's because Tekken fans have no other or new Tekken game to play so they only have Tekken 7 to fall back on. You see Mortal Kombat is the best and biggest fighting game for a reason and the reason is you can always count on them to make a new game every 2 years not just keep going on with the same damn game for 3 years now. Lets be honest here would you want to keep going on with Tekken 7 or wouldn't you rather have them make and come out with Tekken 8 already?
