I love Captain Grim's videos. Always look forward to them. I've played WoW since vanilla, and while classic was fun to dabble in again, I honestly did not have too much interest going back to CLASSIC WoW. (TBC and Wrath are/were the two I was looking forward to the most.) I'm not keen on the whole deluxe version stuff, but there was ONE thing that I did appreciate... *prepares to get massive amount of hate* I'm glad they had the boost (and restricted it to one per account.) I didn't particularly miss leveling (I'm spoiled with current leveling speed) and the thought of having to create yet another character to grind out to 70 was something that I no longer have time for. (Hey, it's been about a decade and a half... I've gotten older and don't have that kind of time anymore.) So, I actually appreciated the boost because it allowed me to play the (classic) expansion that I loved without having to drudge through WoW Classic. I have 40+ toons at max level on retail. (Shush... I'm an altoholic.) Of those, maybe 2-3 are given any real attention past merely getting them to max level. (Usually I profession grind so that I'm self-sufficient.) I'm super casual now... my days of hardcore raiding died back when Cata hit. I'm currently sub-locked because my 6 month subscription hit 2 days before the lawsuit was made public. So, kinda screwed there until sub ends. I really want Blizz to get better, even though I don't honestly see it happening. For one, many of the people that were complicit in the lawsuit are still gainfully employed at Activision Blizzard. Until they are gone, I'm pretty sure it will stay the same way it has been.

As someone who briefly played the WoW open beta back in the day(I was a Tauren)…It’s really sad what WoW has become, isn’t it? It seems very fitting that FFXIV has since risen from the ashes of it’s disastrous 1.0 state to take WoW’s place as arguably the best MMORPG experience out there. I believe there are two quotes from a certain tsundere dude voiced by Rene Zagger that apply here. [Ahem] “Remember…Remember us. Remember that we once lived.” “Do not squander it…The legacy I leave you!”

It's so sad that people that never played classic can now just boost their way to 58 without do a shit, the fun of classic is not only in the end game, but is the levelling process itself, the friend the memories along the way that made classic enjoyable, that was the game, with the boost you just ruined everything.

I left due to Boosting and the Xpac beeing just a timegat chore. IMAGINE even story is timegated.. That is even worse than modern mobile game. But sadly Tokens makes more money than WoW subs.. so its to stay. Glad i left mid Legion. Gave SL a good chance due to promised good stuff and alt friendlieness.. I got robbed.

so i wanted to play final fantasy XIV but when i tried to log in through the launcher, it asked for a “one-time password” so i went to find out what that was and found out it was part of an authenticator thing and when i tried to set that up i had to get another authenticator, and i had to get a one-time password from there, BUT the code i had to enter into the site had to be 6 digits but the code i got was 8 digits long

the one time thing is a optional thing from my experience, i just use a password and my name on my account to login but it sucks your having a hard time
