Kringle Morning Cartoons *Discontinued* Product Review

PSA - I don't know if it was the Fruit Loops looking label but I kept referring to this as Marshmallow Morning. Oh well🤷🏻‍♀️ Here is basically my review in written form. It does smell reminiscent of Lucky Charms (very little charms) and there are instances of a lactonic note that I don't attribute to coconut milk specifically but more of a vague milky note. Light medium in terms of strength and throw which is not shocking for a heavy vanilla type fragrance, but it leaves you wanting more. For me at least. One and done for me unless I find one dirt cheap. I still dislike how these OG Kringle labels look for the sole reason that it is hard to tell the candle is lit because there is very little flame visible. What this most reminds me of are people who enjoy to microwave their cereal beacuse of that warmth to the fragrance. Acquired taste but oddly smells more appealing than what I imagine that would taste like.

Sounds like we didn't miss out on much if we missed this one. I wonder how their candles are performing with the wax change and what the impetus behind the decision was. 🤔

I know that soy wax is more expensive but I think it might be just a trend towards more "natural" ingredients and to prevent the wax from getting discolored.🤔 i still like a good paraffin wax candle🕯

I'm surprised that Kringle Candles are available in TJ Maxx of all places. I haven't even seen Yankee Candles in their store in years.

@slhines7 My TJMaxx stores get a lot of bulk items that are older packaging, etc. I haven't seen Yankee there but Ross there are quite a few surprisingly among the unknown brands there lol

@@MeetMsMarie Wow, that's very interesting to hear. I knew that they get old stock of candles, fragrances, etc which aren't even marked down that much, but still haven't seen any of those brands in my area at TJ Maxx or Ross, definitely not Kringle. They probably only ship to stores that are withing so many miles of their HQ. I work at TJX on Sundays and never see them.

Weak throws with these 100% soy Kringles seems to be the norm, which is a problem for me.

This one was a soy blend formula. I've tried the 100% soy as well and some candles, like the Country Candle Coffee Shop, was even lighter than this one. I hear they are still tweaking their wicks and wax formula at least.

@@MeetMsMarie Oh! These are blended wax jars like BBW. I see and overall hear ya. It sure would be nice it was possible to tweak the 100% soy candles to have more throw overall. At least the burn is always 10% clean, but it doesn't do much good if people can barely smell it.🥴

@slhines7 i agree. I have a feeling it might just be the nature of soy wax. I'll take the not so clean burns for now! It bothers me when they dud out though. The soy wax candles for the most part don't.

@@MeetMsMarie Yeah, same here and that's completely understandable. Although, I've personally never had any issues with either type being duds.
