I’m definitely late for Christmas but the beauty of this video is, I can enjoy the display anytime and what a display it was. This was truly a magical winter wonderland. It brings a smile 😀 to my face imagining the look on the children’s faces when they see this. It’s summer here at Christmas and it’s usual hot, so I’ve never seen a winter Christmas, where I live even the winter is very cold. I haven’t put the heater on now for the last 4 years. @@RhettyforHistory lunch and dinner is usual eaten outdoors because of the beautiful weather, we used to have street parties and cricket with the neighbours. A lot of BBQs and eating prawns (not me) Lots of cherries (yum) but first thing is kids opening their presents as soon as they get out of bed.

It does bring back memories when we were little kids and mom and dad would take us down town to look in the big department store windows at all the cute animation displays they would have up. Definitely not the same shopping online and getting out to mingle with others in the hectic shopping times. Having your coat on, then getting hot and having to take it off to shop more. I think the retail places really were elaborately decorated. Definitely some special memories were made experiencing all of that. Thank you for watching and Merry Christmas!

I love it. It always seems like Christmas flies by. We put lights and our tree up around Thanksgiving and in the blink of an eye it's time to take everything down. Taking things down is the depressing and worst part. I can't imagine the people that go all out decorating. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a great New Year.

You're right about it being the dreadful depressing part. But what joy it brings when it is up! There are some places such as Santa Claus, Indiana that never take them down. I watch the show and I saw them win all the houses are gorgeous to me it would be awful hard to pick one. certain things they look for and that's why they pick it but this house is beautiful I'd love to see it with the Halloween I didn't know they did that maybe sometime they will have that on too and I'll watch it cuz I watch this every year thank you for taking a picture of it and a video and showing us again it's really gorgeous you have a nice holiday and stay safe

I am curious on how much his bill is and how much it increases during this time. I leave my lights on all night so it may equal out since he turns his off at 10pm. Not sure though. Merry Christmas Steve! How is your mother doing too? My mother is doing as well as expected, but she's slowly going down hill and she's slowly getting worse with her dementia. My mother is also bed bound now and has a hospital bed to lay in, she's lost her ability to walk too, due to major arthritis in her leg joints.
