ardin543210 I don't think there is much wrong with playing with his friends but I do not see the benefit of watching games Kripparrian wins when he just lucks out (i.e. an Arcane Barrage removing a full health + divine shield Minibot.) I feel it's more important to see examples of how these decks and strats are able to turn games around beyond the pure luck factor. Sure, this game can be about luck but that is where, in my understanding, the real skills lies. That whole diatribe being said, I would chock this up to him misrepresenting what he actually wanted to say with the word "serious". I thought the combos were fun and the results were hilarious.

Guys please take note of this vid. In my opinion hearthstone is best for 2 things. Being a good player and having fun. All these new rush decks offer these and are ruining the fun for control players. There is a place for rush decks, but face hunter just ruins the game fore everyone. BeaverGames Well, think of it this way: face hunter may be making the game less fun for control players, but you can also make the game less fun for face hunter! Kezan Mystic is great against them and so is healbot. Control Warrior is actually strong against face hunter since the armor gain is a big deal. Paladin is also good against face hunter. Control decks aren't stuck bending over to face hunter, they can actually fight back!

Zebo12345678 i completely respect that and sometimes they can. but I promise you that control warrior is not strong v face hunter at high ranks and paladin most certainly isn't. the easiest way is druid with loads of heals. the only way to beat hunter is to have a high tempo at the start and lots of heals. the warriors armour is not fast enough. if you can get into the late game you have a chance. but yeah kezan mystic can win you games if your not 2 far behind.

Steve Jobs 4 damage is enuff, and you need 2 cards as combo (both less reliable and uses 2 cards) ouch, and many warlocks already play OpOp Shadowflame with gigants so getting magma rager for this job would just save the gigant in some cases, not actually clear the board.

I know that you like OTK decks, so I challenge you into testing a OTK shaman I came up with today: Shaman arcane golem otk deck. The wombo combo: Arcane golem, 2x rockbiter, windfury and faceless manipulator. That is 40 damage all from hand, but it is 12 mana, so you must have emperor on board before the combo. And yes, I have pulled the 40 combo at ranked at rank 14

It's a combo that requires two cards. Magma Rager is basically only useful if you plan to use a Shadowflame, which you might not have, therefore, it becomes a dead card. You do not want a dead card.
