I love how comfy the items are in this game. You don't have "The Sword of the Western Planes" for the most part, you have things like "Conch" or "Black Pepper" - definitely looking forward for Jules the most.

I love the friends too, like a Microwave named Dave, and Diana-saur. The art in this game is very refreshing, and they clearly have good, clean humour so it makes it accessible for everyone.

I agree with both of y’all. The game feels like those old picture books I would read as a kid. One of them was a large book with mostly pictures (and a few descriptions of the scenes). They would be large, cluttered works of beautiful art with tons of details. The Bazaar really captures that with all the little touches to details in the art and lore they are developing. Very fun game, I do get burned out sometimes, but that’s my own dang fault lol.

I was kinda inspired and had a vanessa run also with treb start. I got oven mitts and a crapload of haste skills with aquatic as well as mixed message. It was filthy... 1.2k burn in ~4 seconds. Move over dooley

Kinda hard to take these Vanessa builds seriously with Augmented Weaponry every time. If the builds are hinging on a PVE drop that's pretty bad. I'd be more convinced had you picked a good solo Treb run without it. (if it even exists, the hero tends to do horrendously without Aug). I know this one didnt "hinge" on it but it helped more than enough in the midgame

The hero functions just fine without augmented weaponry. You have like 6 options for strong single weapon builds, mass ammo weapon builds, and I’ve seen some interesting poison, slow, and haste based builds that work well. Just gotta be creative and not try to force the same cookie cutter builds.

@@TheBroodingRogue Losing several days midgame to poison because you didnt hit the 2 actually good weapons + the scaling (cuz you dont quadruple your damage with 2 sharpening stones) means that even if you assemble a decent build and stabilize youre going into day 12+ where youre coinflipping who got more cancer enchants. Playable =/= good

This build does not work vs a freeze (even slow) Dooley. I know because I play a lot of Dooley and destroy these 1 item builds frequently.

@ yea it’s literally a wading through the trash simulator all early game. I try to make a build that has like 30-40% chance of winning and then I just stack gold and exp. Pray for good shops late game

You can say amazing, but its just really really poorly balanced at this point. Solo weapons build will kill anything, just like the puffer a few weeks back and the Dooley builds a week ago. Playing meta builds to win is no fun. Losing to meta builds every game is no fun either

Yeah, the game style is really fun but so far in the beta period I'm starting to lose faith in them being able to competently maintain and balance this game long-term. Concerned this is going to have a pretty short life of constant meta build spikes and no satisfying, broad balance.

@@MrDanieloneill Yup. Given the complexity of the game Im afraid you are right. Just the fact that if you dont get a scaling item the first day you are pretty much screwed if you are not really lucky.
