That's incorrect... 3/10 ^ 16 is the chance that he got offered it every single discover. It's 7/10^16 that it didn;t show up in any discover. + my understanding of the mulligan is that it only selects from cards that you hadn't seen, so the second draw comes from the remaining 6 cards... unless of course it behaves differently for the brawl.

one of the most succersful decks ive played that is decent against mage and recks priest is evolve shaman. play evlove: Thrall deathseer: Devolve: Dopleganster: call in the finishers: Pathces: Firefly: volcano: some draw and it works out pretty well over 50% of the time

with 67-60% winrate quest mage was, well unbeatable :DD. Only aggro mage and secret mage won it mostly, but the final version didn't really lose to anything other than yah other mages at times.

quest hunter: marsh queen(duh), fire fly, glacial shard, arcerus veteran, elven archer, shield bearer, young priestess, zealous initiate, tundra rhino, and a choice of cards, though after playing a jade arcane golem druid deck, hunters mark. i can complete quest by turn 5 or 6 usually. highly defensive one drops that keep building up so that you can stall. you'll overun cheese lock as you complete the quest and drop unending raptors. it's legit, went up against a giant deck, went the distance. can also recomplete the quest for more marsh queens for lols.

tortollan druid: all of the good/decent one mana spells (about 6), tortollan forager and tortollan defender, the geist that discards all one mana spells, plus one other card (tomb spider). you use your spells to take over and defend the early game, followed by geist to ensure that you constantly get tortolls who constantly give you tempo plays. just don't geist against cheeselock and he'll thin your deck for you.

Gnomeferatu power overwhelming mistress of mixtures voidcaller doomgaurd malganis shadow flame bloodreaver drain soul unwilling sacrifice or some other removal or silence This deck i used won around 25/30 games i played with it. Its like a super control/combo deck the idea is to have a shadowflame and voidcaller and mal ganis in your opener and use power overwhelming to kill of your own voids/mistress to draw or with shadowflame to clear whatever they have and once you start getting mal ganises being killed you spam bloodreaver and become unkillable. The gnome gives you a way to beat ANY other control deck and messes with combo priest if your lucky (the only deck it loses to) by putting them on a clock and even jades don't get big enough fast enough to stop malganis/voids from just going face and closing out the game instead of playing with your enemy like you normally would.

I loved forge of souls in my furnace deck (it actually draws the card, so you get 2 weapons and 2 extra discovercards). Fishing for murlocs worked the same too. So these cards allowed me to reduce my own decksize to the exact 3 cards I wanted every round. Or I just did this with Hemet.

This brawl is my favourite one we have had a long time. My partner and i played a lot of it together. We both tried a lot of different just silly fun decks. My favourite is probably us both playing renounce darkness against each other. Although explore ungoro was fantastic too. It just put a lot of the fun back in the game for me and i really appreciate this tavern brawl a lot

I developed a deck that just crushes this arena. Open the Waygates, Glyph, babbling book, Apprentice, Intellect, Arcane Giant, Reno, Ice block, flamewaker, +1 filler. Each discover you get from a draw counts as a spell, so you can chain open the waygates together--to put this into perspective, I got 5 consecutive turns in one match.

I really actually loved this brawl. It was a lot of fun. Games were fast, and I was able to use my fun cards (Lyra, Deathstalker Rexarr, Thrall) Way more often without waiting the whole game to draw them and then hoping I was alive.

What I've been playing is a shaman deck with evolve and a thing from below, to basically stockpile on a thing from below and evolve that into something huge. Pretty fun to play. Admittedly it's a bit too slow though.

I've been playing a Lichqueen jaina mage that has been doing very well. Reno, Rag and barongeddon with a bunch of stall has been pulling a lot of wins.

One other evil deck is freeze mage. Frost nova, fireball, iceblock, intellect, acolyte, and Tharaussan. Don't hurt enemy minions, just stall and draw until you get enough fireballs. Only major weakness is gnomeferatu, sadly.

It's not Mage's fault that every other class in the game won't let it play normal decks. Every fun mage deck is garbage in comparison, in brawl and on ladder. I'm almost tempted to resort to bullshit decks myself, but i'd sooner dust my whole collection and convert everything into golden millhouses

didn't punished me when playing quest mage, tons of draw and arcane giants, just play quest on 1 and draw all the giants u need on turns 2-4 if unlucky u lose giants to first gnomeferatu then its too bad, but then if not discarded u just get higher and higher chance to get giants after he discards anything else. so with 4 giants in my hand and extra turn its gg cause rest of the deck is just freeze and draw. all draw activating the quest ofc

Actually theres a counter against gnomeferatu. Its called quest rogue. Put the quest in, bounce effects like shadowstep and etc, put chargers in like the pig and then put in gnomish inventer (the 2 cost card draw minion) you will get your quest complete by turn 3 or 4 and infinite discovers...fill the board with chargers by turn 5 and overpower the people exploiting the bug before they can get you down to 3 or less cards. Its 90% guaranteed win rate against thst deck.

A tip for winning better for this brawl: put patches into your deck. if you play it turn one, you now discover from 9 cards instead of 10, raising your chance to get that winning card

Had fun as Druid using naga sea witch + infinite Kun, the forgotten king. + prince Malchezaar to counter gnomeferatus and deat lords also unexpected fun.

Playing Murlocs (I had the quest) worked pretty well with warlock with that 4/2 that makes the next murloc cost health allowing you to chain a bunch of 4/2 murlocs into a warleader or coldlight seer and next turn you will probably win with a gentle megasaur looking for windfury/+3 damage

I'm not sure why he kept buffing the stalker after it got 16 health at 9:40, he had the divine spirit; so all he needed was the inner fire. If he started putting some health buffs on the talon priest, it would have helped him control the board so he would have more opportunities to draw the inner fire.

I actually just put in dirty rat as my last card for the giggles not knowing about the gnomeferatu cheese. Came across gnomeferatu cheese, top-decked dirty rat 3 times, force summoned gnomeferatu 3 times, opponent forfeited. Felt good.

My favorite deck this brawl is quest mage. It's extremely easy to get to the point of having enough cards and mana discounts to do infinite back to back turns and as a result, infinite mana. It's hard countered by skulking geist and gnomeferatu but if you aren't against them, it's an instant win and hilarious.

Have an actual hearthstone question about this brawl. After you discard your opponents deck, does your opponent draw into fatigue if you forcefully do it like Coldlight when your opponent has nothing.

no. you dont actually draw cards in this brawl. When gnome discards all your cards, you just cant discovery a card from your deck because you dont have a deck to discover from. say you had two cards left.. on your turn you would only get to choose from those 2. i actually got an idea for a hemet hunter deck because of this where id build 7 cards to control the early and mid game and then throw down hemet so i was guaranteed to get either call of the wild or midevh every turn after turn 6, of course you can play with these cards and come up with some fun combos

Deathstalker Rexxar, Deathlord, Sludge Belcher, N'zoth can beat out gnomeferatu. Deathstalker gets you card generation, Deathlord could pull gnomeferatu out or other minions, plus it's a deathrattle taunt that gets rezed by N'zoth to buy you more time. I also have Deadly Shot, Reno, and Deathwing in there, but they're not essential in that match up... I hate how many gnomeferatu decks are out there :/

played jade druid in this brawl. Turns out that Gnomeferatu is only half as good when you can shuffle jade idols which is the strongest card in your deck, mainly because you can spawn a golem with basically every copy.

I just made freeze mage on this tavern and it was pretty good, Alex, fireball, torch, ice lance, frost bolt, apprentice, babbling book, gliff, crystals fresh from Kazakus and the freezing potions just to guarantee the freeze, needs some fixes but it was pretty good, also you could just play jade Druid, didn’t even need aya

I encountered another bug yesterday too. A Mage somehow went infinite on me and took a 5 minute+ turn. They got 4 apprentices down and then somehow kept on resetting the rope when it was about to end their turn while constantly drawing peruse until they slowly fire-balled me to death.

I played mage quest otk with ice block, had 11 turns in a row at average in the late stages of the game, was pretty fun, everyone consceded cuz they had to wait for 20 minutes till the start of their next turn

i had fun with Secret Hunter, using Patches, Mad Scientist, Healbot, DK Rexxar, and 6 secrets. you do force the bug onto yourelf, but it only lasts for a turn, then you can just build-a-beast to victory. too bad that Rexxar gets weaker from the trash beasts of previous sets. i would like a standard-only version.

Why is this a bug? Well, because this is a remake brawl. This bug had always existed in this brawl and the change from last time in KFT. In the previous iteration of this brawl, I actually ran into this glitch building a deck around it: Mad Scientist, Reno, Deathwing, and 7 secrets with the plan to guarantee Deathwing or Reno every turn, but the bug kicked in and would just lock me out. This bug isn't new, its just more obvious since there is an actual card that removes a part of the deck. And I doubt Blizzard would be willing to test out the same brawl when there wasn't any obvious glitches in the previous version of it.

Shadow word Pain Shadow word Death Excavated Evil Silence Lightbomb Shadow Visions Shadow Essence Eternal Servitude Greater Healing Potion Blood of the Ancient One Remove and heal through early game, until the Ancient one rises and continues to rise. Vulnerable to silence removal but you could always just death your own ancient ones, to ensure they rise from Eternal servitude.

I did the priest deck with Doomsayer, then silenced it. Opponent: did you really just silence your doomsayer? I'll just ignore it. Ha! Now your at 10 health and I have lethal next turn, watcha gunna do? Me: *starts buffing doomsayer* Opponent: *it was at this moment he realized, he fucked up*

i played against a mage that took 9 extra turns yesterday without doing anything and i just left because it was boring :( i think the point of the deck was to just make your opponent concede because all they did was time warp quest over and over again and freeze my minions and it actually lasted like half an hour with most of that being their turn

for any goblin vs gnomes veterans, play hunter with mechwarper plus metaltooth leaper, deadly shoot and freezing trap plus whatever you like, stall the game untill you get 2-3 mechwarpers and 2-3 metaltooth leapers. Its disgusting in this brawl ;)
